Good tips about the courts, practicing reading them in conjunction with each other instead of only on their own! & Love your reminder at the end about learning to trust myself first rather than being in a hurry to "indoctrinate" myself. I'm 3 years into learning tarot and I'm consciously trying to consume less CZcams & other things, so I can tune into myself more and see how I want to read.

I'm trying to consume less youtube all around lol we're so addicted to scrolling and it drains so much of our energy.
I hope your tarot journey is much more intimate and personalized now 🙂

I enjoyed hearing your responses! Court cards were/are still a challenge for me...I appreciate your perspective on them. I love what you said about how Tarot can help us with our expansive connection, and honing the skills of recognizing this. Yes! Great advice for beginners :) The "card face down" and title covering exercises you described are amazing ideas. Off topic: your necklace is gorgeous! Thanks for making this video✨

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I love sharing practice ideas. Checking out your channel as well!
Yea.. covering the card titles was actually game changing for me as far as connecting to the concepts in the shared subconscious. It's one thing to read about it but to realize your own Knowing is amazing.
The necklace is from this shop www.etsy.com/shop/CultureCross ;)

    1) How do you read for timing?
    2) Your website is down?

I've assigned the majors a time frame and the minors a week of the year. The aces are just seasons in general. OR I pre designate how many days or weeks every card will represent and then flip them over one at a time until reaching a card that signifies the event I'm looking for. For example if each card is a week and 5 cards into the deck is the 8 of Wands, then in 5 weeks I'll be traveling.
Website is down temporarily as I manage my work/school schedule : )

@@MillaMaria Thank you! Would you please tell me the details about this: "I've assigned the majors a time frame and the minors a week of the year. The aces are just seasons in general"? What are the major timeframes, and the minor weeks, and the ace seasons?
And for your other method, do you know which card you're looking for when you pre-designate the time? Or is it just the first card that fits the bill? 🙏🙏🙏

@cev12 you have to decide what makes sense to you. Some people have earth/pentacles assigned as Spring. I prefer them as Fall. Some people feel water/cups is Spring, some people Summer. Aces would be just that general season. ie: Ace of Swords = winter (or w.e you want it to be). 2 of Swords the first week of winter. 3 of Swords the 2nd week. Page = 10th week. King = 13th week.
The majors are a time frame based on their astrological correspondence. Strength is Leo season. Hermit Virgo season. The world / saturn = 28 years. Judgement / Pluto = 248 years. etc. Those get more into ancestral work or shadow work for the past.
And I have predesignated cards to represent what it is I'm looking for. Sometimes more than one. For example, "when will I meet someone?" = the lovers, 2 of cups, page of cups, knight of cups, Ace of Cups, Ace of Wands, 4 of Wands. Whichever I run into first in the deck will also tell me a little more about the situation. For example Ace of Cups vs. Ace of Wands showing up first could mean there's emotional connection but not much physical attraction. And if it's it's 10 cards deep and I've decided each card is a week, it'll be about 2.5 months from now.
I've combined a lot of what I've read into methods that work for me. Saturnarium's channel is helpful and some book by Dusty White. I think The Easiest Way to Learn Tarot touched on timing if I remember correctly.

@@MillaMaria Thank you tons-- it's very helpful. And if you ever have the time and/or inclination to do a video on timing, I would love to see it.
Also, do you find that any of your timing methods is more reliable than others, and which one?

@cev12 you're very welcome. And I've had accuracy with both but I've found that flipping through the deck until reaching a relevant card gives much more information. Because often the cards I'm flipping through tell a story along the way. But that's just been my experience.
