- Reviewing Xiaomi's Redmi Note 10 Pro after a week of using it as my smartphone, including a full camera test, gaming performance, battery life and those MiUI 12 features. The Redmi Note 10 Pro is one of the best budget phones of 2021 so far, and a true rival for the Poco X3 NFC. Sure, there's no 5G, unlike Xiaomi's Mi 10T Lite. But with a quad lens rear camera including 108MP primary sensor, plus a gorgeous 120Hz AMOLED screen on board, you get some serious value for a low price.
Check out my unboxing video for a closer look at the software etc, and I've also reviewed MiUI 12 if you want to see my favourite features. You get a similar software experience here to the Mi 11 flagship phone, but on a much stricter budget.
Gaming with the likes of PubG and Call of Duty is a smooth, satisfying experience, thanks to the Snapdragon 732G chipset (same as the Poco X3). The Redmi Note 10 Pro's 240Hz touch sampling helps to keep things competitive. You get plenty of storage too, and features like NFC for contactless payments.

That is exactly what i do. I buy smartphones that have amazing value for money and i buy two of them so i not only have a back-up phone but i can use one outside and another at home etc and never wait for any charging(although with today's fast charging speeds it has become almost a non issue).
@@PeterOekvist Iphones aren't crap they are just overpriced. Iphone does what the user that buys it expects from it if the user is fine just having something to do his thing.
The problem is that the price is stupid, but the same goes with some Android flagships.

This. Xiaomi is actually still making some profit from these and these are pretty cheap for what you get.

Xiaomi on it again been using the note 9 pro for best part of a year and no complaints no need to get ripped off by the big players anymore

Rocking the Poco X3 NFC atm. Absolutely love the fingerprint reader on the side and the big ass battery, easily get 2 days usage out of it, sometimes 3. Only missing an OLED screen, so with similar specs I might just swap it for the Redmi Note 10 Pro. 👍

Very tempted by this thing, although I'm going to wait until the Samsung A52 and Realme 8 Pro are out, leaks are suggesting they are going to offer similar high refresh OLEDs! At that point, it's going to be a battle for the best camera setup

Great, funny and informative video! I got this 2 days ago and im so happy with it, coming from a Huawei P30 Lite. The battery-life was excellent on my P30 too, but man, this is even better. Still not really used to the fingerprint-reader being on the side, but ill get the hang of it eventually, cheers from Sweden and stay safe everyone 😋

1 year after this video has been uploaded. I've been using this phone as my secondary device for university and work, and its just holding up surprisingly well. Great video and a really good value phone.

Hello mate. I bought this bad boy almost two years ago right when it came in my country and i had a blast with it. It has some lag and overheating problems lately but over all easily the best phone i had so far. Thank you for guiding me to a great phone

@@dirkvancauwenberg4553 I mean you can always install Apple music on the phone. Much better price and comparable specs with higher refresh rate. Processor is slightly worse bit I don't think that's am issue for most people

This is pretty much the best bang for buck you can get.
Only thing the x3 nfc has over this is the cheaper price ~200€.

Adds can be disabled , eventho in Europe you hardly get any . And yes , phone can be unlocked for installing custom roms , you need to ask for it on their forums IIRC.
You should've also tried Genshin Impact for the gaming test, though its understandable since the game is very huge.

Dope phone but Poco X3 NFC (no fucking around) is still standing strong especially in the camera department 💪
It has no zoom or image stabilization for video. I don't know if the phone above does or not though. If I got the Poco x3 it would be the most expensive phone i've ever bought at 230 bucks. The only way I'd spend for than that is for a good zoom and image stabilization.

Honestly if you're going for budget phone Poco X3 is the absolute best value for the price range. I was using oppo a9 2020 (very similar to A5 in specs) and then i switched to Poco X3 and im blown away by the huge leap in specs despite the same price. 1080p display, 120hz refresh rate, 33w fast charging, and a better chipset, plus better camera too

@@josemourinho4767 i think the camera isnt too big a difference since you dont use the 64MP a lot anyways. But every other thing is very noticeable. I was gifted the A9 so when I found out the display is 720p it was a lil disappointing, sure nothing that destroy any video viewing experience but you'd notice the lil pixels when trying to set a hd wallpaper for eg and a small bummer that you can't choose 1080p on YT. 120HZ blew my mind cuz it makes scrolling thru reddit/twitter etc butter smooth. Fast charging, very noticeable due to the massive battery size, 10w on oppo A9 took 3-4 hrs for a full charge but 1-1.5 hrs tops for Poco X3. I can't tell much about the chipset because i only play mobile legends and it isn't too performance dependant
