I feel like electro-convulsive therapy (E.C.T.) is an underrated, underused general treatment that’s safe for female patients during all trimesters. I don’t think lithium and carbamazepine are the best things to be taking at any point during pregnancy, to be honest. I understand why Stacey was conflicted.

Electroconvulsive therapy isn’t suited for bipolar
Its only useful in cases of very severe depression
