Yeah he had to train mostly mobility and strength/conditioning because of the injury. Since he looks to be back to near 100% I think he can focus more on fighting and movement training now.

You’re telling me the same guy who beat the brakes off Izzy, stood and arguably out struck Cannonier & Hermanson gets knocked out in the first round to Alex’s most famous move (left hook)? As if Sean & his coaches didn’t prepare for that same left hook.. I don’t know maybe I’m just being weird, but I feel like Sean purposely lost so that they could have Izzy vs Alex.
@@bradleye660 Alex tricked Sean by playing into Sean’s habits of parrying blows w his arms so he leg kicked him and jabbed the body eventually feinting to the body then sent a left hook up high bc Sean’s arms were reaching for a body jab. All fighting is is reading patterns and adjusting Alex’s hook took him out before he could pick up on what he was doing. Simple tricks like that still work in high level fights bc there’s so much they’re trying to read and counter eventually some shots get through easily in the meantime bc they simply had their mind expecting smth else

There's a rhythm some guys build from years of sparring, where strikes accidentally become predictable. If you have ever sparred with people who throw strikes off tempo...or in between the normal cadence....you realize how much harder it is to deal with.
