Is that a lifter noise I hear ? Also I would highly recommend a pertronixs or Hei for the ignition. Those valve cover knobs always loosen and fall of off (at least on mine in the past) . Looks like a job well done though. My 68 is in pieces as I work on it ..
Good ear Brian! Actually I had to move the oil filler cap and in the new location it makes slight contact with the rocker arm. I need to shorten its throat a little so that it doesn't make contact.

Question what headers did you go with? Was there any fitment issues? Looking good.
Hooker headers - they fit perfectly. I did need to have short extension tubes made to mate them up with the Flowmaster exhaust.
Thank you for that bit of info. Seems so tight. Good to know there are headers that will fit without modifications.
