- WrestleQuest offers a unique take on the wrestling medium in video game form by giving us a classic turn-based RPG. Rather than pitting two wrestlers against each other in a real-time fight, wrestlers instead take turns in picking their moves, taunting each other, and using their gimmicks. RPG mechanics in the game manage to remain simple but feature some depth with the presence of different attack types, as well as elemental attacks and resistances.
Along with the interesting gameplay, WrestleQuest also tells a fun story that revolves around the nature of the pro-wrestling business, and whether it’s really “real” or “fake”. Throw on top the presence of wrestling legends like Jeff Jarrett, Andre the Giant, “Macho Man” Randy Savage and Diamond Dallas Page, and you get a game that hopes to be a perfect love-letter to professional wrestling. - Hry

Kudos to you sir, for actually appreciating something new. It's no surprise to see how game review companies are crumbling like mainstream news.
I like how the characters in this game are just toys... Reminds me of my childhood where I would make my action figures from Star Wars, Transformers, Ninja Turtles and others just duke it out.
Are we gonna ignore that invincible cameo? Lol.
This was a cool idea.. Dunno why it hasn’t been done before.. I usually play the Trails series.. And I thought a similar styled game featuring known rock stars would also be interesting
The important question that went unanswered are: What will Jim Cornette think and is Dave Meltzer giving it five stars?
Cornette is completely ignorant when it comes to computer games, it doesn't matter if it's E.T for the Atari or Ghost of Tsushima it's all the same to him he will just roll his eyes and scoff and complain about Wrestlers playing it in the locker room. Dave well it's not developed in Japan and doesn't feature the Elite or any of this friends so 3stars at best

Meltzer only gives it 5 stars unless you play it in the Tokyo Dome.

Sadly, it got delay. Apperantly, there was a bug that corrupted save files if you change devices
No intentions of changing devices here and assume for the vast majority. A patch would have been better during these few very boring weeks on Switch. Red Dead Redemption comes out first and is overpriced and along with other releases, this game could have been hot for 2 weeks. Instead, Red Dead will break people until Mario. Stupid, stupid, move.

Delay release have wait two weeks after prior announced date for release unfortunately due to corruption of save files when switching devices😢
Does this mean you would have to buy multiple copies at full price to get this bug? If so that's infuriating as it has been delayed long enough and has zero chance for the bug for me. They couldn't patch in a week or so? Arseholes! This bug probably wouldn't affect 99% of the base.

This just don’t do it for me. I want them to put the Wrestlefest remake that was on PS3 back up! Many people, myself included, paid for that & a few other Arcade remakes that just vanished. That’s not good business.
