I don't get people writing this. It was close and BLG is a top tier team that is probably the best against teams like GenG with weak toplaners. It was never meant to be a onesided GenG win and not they lost 3-2.
@@robertmusil1107GenG never made it to Worlds Finals. They almost always bombed out of top 8. Last year was the only year they got to semis.
5 years of LCK dominance and only making Worlds semis once. So yeah, GenG choking at International events is expected.

@@clappedbyben5438 but BLG got hard stompped 3-0 by LNG, and it took LNG 5 games to beat WBG. so there are some say BLG is actually the 4th seed. but they did have the most dominate regular season in LPL history so i wouldnt go that far.

Caedrel's recap videos are the first ones I've ever seen where I feel the same tension watching the shortened form of the game as I would watching the full game. It's such a boon to have when Worlds is out east and broadcasts start at 2 am here.

I think T1 is the last hope of the LCK. Theyre the only team that has even a slight chance of winning it all. I think they have a decent chance at semis, with recent form they appear better than LNG. But that can change in days. If they do go all the way Fakers legacy gets an added bonus of solo carrying the entire LCK to the worlds title.

@@acreditar-belive2950 Personally I think Mid is the easiest to replace. I feel even when Mid get's gap the game is still winable especially with a strong bot lane and jungler. Top is hard cause top lane champs are op they can just solo win games. Doran is a good top because either he Gaps you or just lose but don't really int is top side. He is just really fucking bad when his team is behind, lose all confidence. Chovy even when ahead still feels useless at times. Idk who they can get Top but it shouldn't be too hard to find a good mid laner. Ofcourse very few people are better than Chovy but if you can find a mid laner that play's Supportive and teamfight's really well, play for Peyz then they are Set(What they should have done for Ruler).
Tabe's drafts are just too good. In some games they looked like they were playing chess in draft.

In general, GenG looks like they're built for domestic success, because, even though they won the LCK championship both times this year, they were actually LCK second seed after the regular season going into the playoffs. They are way better against opponents they have faced before. Last year Choky was 10x worse than this lmao.
It amazes me when people don't understand that different team match up differently against other teams. BLG is strong against GenG because they dominate toplane and go at least even botlane. T1 is better against BLG because their toplaner is about equally good and their botlane has good laning. But T1 is bad against GenG because Chovy is a much better midlaner than Faker and Zeus isn't as dominant against Doran.
Such a good series, BLG the better team on the day. Surely BLGs coach gets MVP.

@caedrel, why was geng2 so reluctant to ban Xun's J4 after the first match. Was it just cockiness or just focusing too much of their own comp to really target ban. To say that he wasn't a major presence/factor into winning the series would be an understatement.
