  • The Dali is slowly moving out of the Port of Baltimore, months after it slammed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge, causing its collapse, in March.

It's just crazy to see it sail past the remains of what used to be a bridge.

And I am sure as it left Baltimore Harbor screamed "AND DON"T COME BACK!!!".

So . . are we to assume that everything has been fixed on the Dali ship to insure the exact same thing doesn't happen again? And how is suit going against the owner of the ship? Given the impact of this "accident", I think people should know what is, and has, been going on.

No you are to assume it's being moved to Norfolk for repairs like they said. Weeks ago.

10 out of the ~15 crew were released to go home according to the news. I'm assuming the rest were the ones directly involved, plus their superiors. NTSB report said a couple people were working on a generator. So, I'm guessing those guys, plus their bosses are still under investigation, just a guess. NTSB report shows what a cluster it was in that generator room, and it raises some questions.

the owners have tied up this mess in maritime law, which is a twisted mess.

Going to Norfolk does not require going to sea or under bridges. If the cargo is being left on board so the ship gets under bridges, does this mean the cargo stays on board during the stay in Norfolk? What happens to the owners of the cargo, have they already been pain off by insurers? Who owns the cargo now?

The cargo is probably owned by the ocean marine insurance compan(ies) by now, or whatever salvage compan(ies) they contract with.

That's a wild jump. They been talking about moving it to Norfolk since before it was taken into port here, to do more clean up.
