FILM DESCRIPTION:Top Gun: Maverick is a 2022 American action drama film directed by Joseph Kosinski. It is the sequel to the 1986 film Top Gun and was written by Ehren Kruger, Eric Warren Singer, and Christopher McQuarrie, based on a story by Peter Craig and Justin Marks. SUPPOSEDLY Nov 1. Though the same place I saw that showed the digital/streaming release as being in mid/late September but that November date is all I can find regarding the blu ray.

The absolute epitome of an action movie. as good as they get. They don't make em like this anymore and I'm glad I got to see it in theaters. When the enemy pilot pulled off that maneuver to get behind him, i knew it was fucking on

Masterful way of using the enemy's missile to take out a damaged enemy plane.
I dont think it was to take out the damaged plane. The plane would have crashed anyways. I believe he used the enemy plane as cover against the incoming missile.
@@peterduriac4331 to use it as a heat source for the heat seeking missile. While that damaged plane is in the air, it can still shoot in certain cases.

Yeah that was pretty much one of the very few details that bothered me about this movie. Even the smallish gatlings found on jets like the F14 and F16 go BRRRRRRT.
The incorrect "chuckachuckachucka" effect makes it sound like a WWI Hotchkiss Machine Gun, and is totally out of place.

Assuming the Gen 5's didn't nuke Maverick immediately, the maneuver at 1:10 was idiotic as Maverick SHOULD have just lit his a** up with guns. Pilot made himself the biggest sitting duck ever.
You can have the best jet fighter, buts its worthless without actual skill..
Don't disrespect the enemy pilot. I knew the first ever jet fighter pilots: I'll tell you now that the 57 pilot pulled some amazing maneuvers. Mav was the superior pilot, but not by that much. That's what makes his victory so epic.

Just like the f117 , Su 57 fa main role is a bomber not a dog fighter ,plus tomcat top speed 2480KMH while the Su 57 top speed 2130KMH , the tomcat can outspeed/outrun the su 57 fa, therefore no need for a dog fight !!! . The best usa pilot with best us fighter jet can try to dog fight a Russian su35 , the su35 will rip through any usa fighter jet like knife throw butter ! .Get Real!, Movies crap !
