Let'sget back to business though. Here we have a glock 17 with compensator I show you how I use a broken mold to make a mold that works.
Safariland hood was harvested off another safariland holster for this build. Sadly that is the only way to get your hands on hoods.
otherwise all material is from holstersmith.com
    and molds from multimoldguns.com
    enjoy

Very good video, I used it as a base to make the holster for my G22 with surefire x400, in Brazil I couldn't find holsters for this combination.

I am old school. Give me a 1/4 inch hunk of leather and I am happy with the holster that results from my skills with it. No fancy plastic for me. Thats just me. I am just an old craftsman and like the old ways. Leather is more natural and the beef cows don't miss the skins when they are gone.

although i like kydex, i would love to get into leather making. i have a good friend who is embarking on that journey. i will probably film him learning as well. it really is a beautiful craft

That just seems like an oxymoron, considering plastic fancy compared to leather. I wish there were more hybrids with both they are the future imo.

That’s not a level 3, level 3 has a thumb or exterior finger release and a hood. Still a nice holster

What thickest thickness of kydex you can use for that holster to where it has great retention but the pistol can be drawn very easy ? And what thickness of kydex was that holster ?

Wrong it’s level 2 still… if you put a sentry guard it’ll be level 3. I’ve been looking to get a als build for HK USP 45 w/ x300u-a and gg&g rail, Rdr

Turned out great!!! I'm with ya tho, those hoods are fucking haha Every time I see one of those I wonder why it's there, I know the purpose but just paying attention does the same thing Lol Just my opinion tho. I keep my faucet on cold when I have to make any kydex adjustments, get it where you want it and straight under the water stops any deformation immediately. Compressed air works but it's a few seconds slower, to each their own ;) Thanks man!!
