She wasn't deported, her visa was revoked. It is very different. If you have a visa, you are agreeing to abide by the social rules of the place you are visiting and it can be revoked.

What makes Hamas a terrorist organization? Hamas targets not only Jewish people but Palestinian people who do not agree with them. Not only that but Hamas targets, kidnaps, rapes and murders civilians. The IDF targets Hamas. Unfortunately in war there are civilian casualties which are known as collateral damage. The IDF does not intentionally target innocent Palestinian citizens but Hamas does target civilians of every ethnicity

We do not have a freedom of speech in the way that most think; we have a freedom of expression, although it is conditional upon a lot of subtext. More so, the freedom of expression isn't an absolute right. In its simplicity, you cannot rely on freedom of expression to support proscribed organisations (incl. their actions).

It's quite simple. You can't apply this standard to this student but not to any Jew (who are classed automatically as an Israeli citizen) that vocally supports Israel's actions.
I don't like what she said but from her perspective it is the first offensive by any force, against her countries oppressors. Her perspective is that not one nation or state on the planet has helped Gaza but Israel who have blockaded and effectively occupied them for decades has been protected by everyone. Palestinian hatred of Israel is understandable but their actions against civilians IMO can't be supported.

The usa is actively blocking the world to help. There have been countless votes in the UN for the palestinian self-determination, and against illegal settlements from israel. The us always vetoes. I just recently found out of the us military support of indonesia, that was massacring the people of east timor. The current secretary general of the un was made popular by his role on defending east timor. The un blue helmets virtually disappeared after 2001, when the us went berserk and started it's rogue solo military operations with the support of a select few allies. Israel seems to want to go to the same path, capitalising on other countries guilt, as usual.

In the visa forms, every applicant declare that they do not support or participate in any manner to any terrorist organisation. So , if Hamas is declared as terrorist org, and she is supporting and proud of their acts, home office is right here. Visa for a country is a previledge and not a right.

This Tory government have no sympathy or compassion for anyone. They have no ability to empathise. They just disgust me. The sooner they are removed from office the better. I have no confidence they will ever call a general election I suspect they will change the law before then. After all it was in their manifesto to scrap the fixed parliament. This means they could do just what the Nazi's did and keep themselves in office permanently. I'll be quite frank I wouldn't put it past them to do just that. It was on the last page of the 2019 Manifesto and I somehow doubt if many people even bothered reading that far.
