The Canon Pro 100 is possibly the best printer in it's class. I've tried several different brands and models, none have come close to the performance and reliability of the Canon Pro 100. Let me know what you think in the comment section below.
Thanks so much for this! I recently sent out my modded Artisan 1430 to the printer repair place... and am not confident it will come back. The printer repair person said they weren't confident they could fix the paper feed, unfortunately. I installed a continuous ink system, and also an external waste ink repository. This printer was my baby! But thanks to your 1430/15000/Pixma review video, I'm confident in the Pixma! And with the option for an affordable ink solution, like you offer here with the cartridges and precision colors, I'm gonna pick up the Pixma today.
Awesome! I really think you'll be happy with it. Let me know how it works out for you.
Any thoughts on the Epson ET-7750?. Also have you tried the Canon Pro-200 yet?
Hi thanks for this review I literally just bought this for my graphic design clothing company! It’s big but I trust this review! I literally bought the Epson 15000 and after 7 prints it stopped working
Thanks. I jave 2 questions:
1. Is is true to the scale? (1mm on screen =1mm printed)
2. How is it for transparencies?
Great Video, I was wondering if you have had any issues with it? Mine will not turn on at all, I didn't know If you know of this issue?
Wonderful review. Question...I bought a new set of in cartridges but am not going ot be using them any time soon. I hear mixed opinions on how to store them. Some friends say store them at room temperature and some say to store them in refrigerator. What's your opinion?
Do your Pro-100s leave a very thin white strip along one side of a print when printing borderless? I have two Pro-100s and both do that. The strip isn't always straight and it varies on what side of the print it's on. Would you have any suggestions for me on how to fix this? I just found your channel and your videos are incredibly informative. Thank you!!
Trying to decide between the Canon Pro-100 and Pixma iP8720. I'm a packaging designer looking to print accurate proofs of the designs. I don't print photos. What's important is color accuracy and text resolution. Would you recommend any of these two printers?
Omg! Thank you so much
So I'm going to purchase the Canon (I Think)...
Do you know if this printer is compatible with accurip software for silkscreening...
Also, does it do heat transfers...
And, if it prints high quality pictures... It should also print high quality transparencies...
I was going to get the XP-15000, but your other video swayed me to the Pro...
Could you let me know... Thanks...
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences!
Do you know if the OEM ink or any of the others are pigment based
Is this good to print stickers?
curious as well...
Great man
Lot of info missing here, are the inks dye or pigment? Sounds like dye - no longevity then... what about size, full edge of paper printing? What about comparable costs versus other printers? And you bought four because you thought you might have problems! that's kinda lame thinking isn't it...Buy one and if it's no good try another brand might have been better...What about actual DPI output? Your video is for office workers, certainly not artists or even perhaps graphic artists.
