- Long time coming and was well overdue, finally fixed the problem to why my paddle shifter and cruise control wasn't working. All because of the clockspring. After fix, controls worked just like it's suppose to.

I have a GS250 2012 and the steering wheel squeaks. The dealer says that the clock spring needs to be replaced. Is the procedure similar to this IS350?
It should be fairly similar.
I got is 300 2007 (middle east) but everything is working in the steering wheel cruise control and the horn… except the padel shifters and I didn’t figure it out yet
My paddle shiffters are not working it doesn't even show on the dashboard when i move my gear to S (sport mode), what could the problem be?

@@Vctr04 I had to sale off the car cause it developed another issue with the thumb start, that has to do with the steering rack

Hey bro. I got a question and maybe you can help. When i drive my car and increase the rpm. I noticed that sometimes or more than once my paddle shift doesnt go up when i need to change gears. I dont know if I am in a high or low rpm and thats why it wont shift up. But it only happens to my up shift only. The down shift never gives me an issue. Do you think i have the same issue as you? Or is this an existing problem with lexus cars.
To be honest, I'm not too sure. It could possibly be, wouldn't hurt to try and swap it out to see if it fixes the issue.

The indicator for the cruise light popped up on mine still and was still not working until after this fix.
Hi, i have an 2011 is250 and the steering wheel doesn t have paddle shifters. I want to convert the wheel with one with paddle shifters. What should I do beside buying the 2011 wheel with paddle shifters? I think I should change the spring behind the wheel?

I don't anymore because the seller no longer has any in stock. But there are others still on ebay. Just look up clockspring for the 2is yesrs
What’s the exhaust set up?
It's custom from the cat back.
Basically x pipe after cats and true dual exhaust to the rear.
Hey bro how's it going? My cruise control and both the paddle shifters suddenly stopped working. It works from time to time, but lately it's completely stopped. Could it be a fuse that needs to be changed? Or the clockspring as you said.
I would start with fuses first, identify which ones they are and see if they're still intact, if everything is still in good condition then I would recommend changing out the clock spring.

It doesn't Rev match like the newer models.
Trying to remove the steering wheel rn, but I cant get it to come off. Did u have any problems removing it?
I did not but it could also need some persuasion, if not then you might have to a steering wheel puller.
Disconnect battery?
That'd would be highly recommended.
