Ingredients:
Bottlegourd - half
or grated bottle gourd - 1.5 cup
Medium rava - 1 cup
Yogurt (whisked curds)- 1 cup
Water - 1/2 to 1 cup
Salt - 3/4 tsp
Baking soda- 1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves chopped - 1/4 cup
TO TEMPER:
Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
White lentils - 1/2 tsp
Chickpea lentils - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 tbsp
MAKES - 10-12 idlis

A question: Is it necessary to squeeze the bottle gourd? We add the juice as well as the flesh to the batter.
Water from the bottlegourd shouldn't make the batter runny. If you are sure then you can add directly
