My wife and I love our Roadmaster. It's the best bike we have ever owned. We test rode a lot of bikes and the Indian won us over and called to us the most.
Own a Roadmaster. Best bike I've ever owned. Not a bike on the planet I'd trade it in for. Beautiful bike, beautiful ride.
Thanks for a really good review, Bryan!!! Keep up the great work!
Striking looks. And I'm not into cruisers or tourers. I'd ride one. That engine must be fun!
If Harley would ever put a decent shock with more than 2 inches of travel they might give the Indian a run for its money in comfort.
Very nice, Can't wait for the comparison with the Electraglide ultra limited.
i’m hearing that there is a lot of heat coming off of the engine/catalytic converter in the exhaust pipe..
here in 2024 there is one of these for sale locally, a 2015 roadmaster. That’s why I’m checking out this video. You’re not mentioning any heat coming off of the engine onto your legs.. is heat an issue?
Great video review and a fine touring bike for open roads. Personally I prefer a lighter bike for twisty roads.
Third :)
Good review Brian but you didnt mention weights and the bikes ability on the twisties.
Probably similar to the Chieftan only a bit slower with the extra weight.
Indian > HD all day.
One dealer per state is just not going to cut it.
😍😍😍😍 chulada de moto 💯💯💯
Good god that fairing is lame as fuck. Otherwise looks pretty high quality.
The magnificent healed heart. I also want to go in the moto.
Is that a "Power" button on his gloves left thumb? What is it for? Does anybody know? Thanks.
edmaluf, those are the BearTek gloves. They have a Bluetooth module built
into them so you can take calls by tapping areas with sensors in the fingers of
the glove.
Motorcycle USA Thank you for the answer! By the way, great channel. Keep up the good work.
Only thing I don't like is those big blocky lowers. They ruin the flow of the bike in my opinion.
I'll keep my wing, that will walk all over this and Glide. And yes I've ridden both.
Harley on an Indian.... Haha 😂
nice bike no doubt but to many gizmos.i bet 10 years down the track all these electronic doodars will play up.this is indians version of a granny glide i mean a heated seat!...hardn the fuck up people
..
Kiss kiss, I guess they will let you keep this bike a bit longer now.
cheese
He says this bike could give Harley Davidson a 'run for the luxury-touring market'. That's nice to mention, but it's not going to happen. Most people, given a choice, will choose a well-established model, such as the Electra-Glide, or a Honda Gold Wing. Also, who owns Indian this time? Who built that new v-twin? What kind of history does that engine have? (none, is the answer) And how much are parts? And are they going to be available for years to come? With Indian, you just never know.. because who owns them this time? So, it's fun to see it reviewed, but would never buy one of those.
Dude where have you been? Polaris owns them now. You know, that huge company that has been making off road vehicles for 50 plus years. Oh and Polaris also makes Victory, so it's not like they are brand new at this motorcycle thing.
Polaris makes a GREAT engine. They've shown that in their 4 wheelers and snowmobiles for a long time. And they've demonstrated they can make a great v twin with the freedom 106 in Victory. For all of the downfalls that people point out with Victory like the styling and such, nobody can say their engine is bad.
And with a huge company like Polaris backing up Indian, they aren't going nowhere. Polaris has just a deep of pockets as any of the other brands out now. And they've shown they will put that weight behind Indian.
^Totally agree. Rode the Indian the other day, and it's, if not more, just as easy in maneuverability compared to the goldwing
Lynn Ledbetter what cave have you been living in?
all the young engineers are fighting to go work at polaris. does not bode well for hd over the long haul
Had the bike loaned to you for 3 mos. and 3K miles? Only provide 4:00 min. of mundane observations? Not good.
First, you have an uncanny ability of stating the obvious. Second, you sound like Mitch Hedberg...w/o the humor.
I like the Harley's much better than this.
The seats on these bikes sucks. It"s like sitting on a bowling ball. Yes you can buy after market seats but at that price the seats should be way better.
it's not suppose to be a fucken car!!
Thats an ugly bike sorry !!!! i i ride a Street Glide !!
Street Glide is a very ugly bike. Looks like a cookie cutter, or like a song with only three words and one chord.... over and freaking over... Sorry!
But the bike is hideously ugly !!!
were you looking in the mirror?
