- Installing 2" speed engineering Long Tubes with mid/ X pipe by far the cheapest kit out in the market but made with great craftsmanship clears plug wires, motor mounts, steering shaft, and starter. Took a couple of hours of work on the ground but got it done!.
Man I want to hear a Camaro SS with long tube headers and a catted H-Pipe all connected to the factory dual mode exhaust. I bet that would sound so good.
I can appreciate a good video when I see one. Keep going with the videos I see alot of subscribers in your future.

Aye bro when you ordered these, did you select the OEM Gasket option, or the multi-layer steel gaskets with bolts option?
We got the oem gasket only way to go and used the oem bolts as well haven't had a leak since install
@@ytrfilms9694 did you torque them down to specs or did it by hand?
@@laserguy815 we tighten them down by hand and after a few heat cycles go over them again work from the middle out seems to give the best results and make sure you use blue lock tie on the steering column bolt
@@ytrfilms9694 appreciate it! And by heat cycles do you mean like after a week or two in between to tighten them again?
@@laserguy815 when it gets to fully operational temp meaning when the thermostat opens up or after a 20 min drive
What method do you use to get them headers in California?
So long tubes are catless as well?
I just installed mine and my engine light is on and stability track im guessing my wires arent plugged right?
sometimes a spark plug wire gets burnt and the cars detects it as a stability track issue. Re check your spark plugs wires ensure none are resting in the primaries tubes.
Any heating issues. I have same ones and ppl say to wrap them or other wiring’s so it doesn’t burn anything
No heating issues but you'll have to wrap or zip tie away the harness on the passenger side just to be on the safe side
Any clearance issues with the 2in headers?
no issues at all they clear everything
But i also have open headers i havent welded my stock exhaust to it
No it would go away once the cat codes are turned off with a tune. It doesn’t hurt to check all the wires once again ensure there fully seated in and not touching the headers.

Did you buy shorter plug wires? Or kept stock ones
We purchased the speed engineering wires which are shorter in addition provide a 45 degree angle to avoid contact with the primaries tubes
What are the dyno numbers
Probably 430rwhp
what are the numbers on the dyno?
we saw 445whp however new era performance dyno reads low

did you have an issue tightening the spark plugs back up with the headers installed
We were able to do it with a small extension that swivels at the socket connection.
how about the extension for the o2 sensors do you know if they go to the grey clip or black one i didnt check which one was front or back 🤦🏽♂️
@@gabrielgabrielv6252 we didn't use them all you have to do is unclip it from the top and it will give you all the slack you need the rear o2's will be disabled in the tune
