I watch these channels because I want a better understanding of the people. I have upmost respect for the youth who face such an uncertain future. What I cannot fathom is why in earth are people over 30 considered old? What do they do for a living? I just cannot imagine how a 33 year old worker can be considered too old to be employed by companies. That usually only comes up uere in the US for people way into their 50's these days.
A 33 year old worker in the professiinal fields is usually valued very much here in the US, because it is usually assumed they have good work experience that eould help the company come up with better results on projects. And they could mentor the yougest workers in the company.
How are the 33+ year old people going to survive in China?? There must be so many of them desperately looking tor jobs in China right now.😮

I don't have a lot of knowledge specifically to this, but I would guess that these types of jobs are very labor intensive, and employers would rather have 23 year olds lugging around heavy metal and moving around rather than 33 year old's. That's the problem with these Chinese low skill jobs--they're very hard and demanding and they're not exactly jobs you can build a career out of.

one of the MAIN reason why this is happening to china where unemployments are rising while manufacturing companies are moving out of china could directly be pointed to the chinese govt attacking Jack Ma and his alibaba company. like him or not, his company was a HUGE bridge to the outside world. i blame this directly onto the chinese dictator.

India also face the same problem, but with almost less than 1/3 the land size.
Not many jobs, so they turn to scamming or call centres for the West. Now I see India trying to develop an industrial and high tech base, but the problem is when their standards of living and wages rises, foreign companies will have to go elsewhere for cheaper labour. And the cycle repeats. That's the danger of the economy depending on exporting consumer goods.

Sooner or later there will be a desperation-driven switch from searching for jobs to foraging for food, when even the dread of arrest will be eclipsed by the cravings of hunger. During the famines under Mao, most Chinese still believed in and adored him, but today people despise the authorities, so it seems less likely that they'll just go quietly into the night this time around...
