    Great video. Is it possible to bind 2 different drones to the e8 controller at the same time? For example have a tinyhawk bound to the e8 and fly it around. Then land. Turn on a nanohawk that's also bound to the controller. And start flying without having to bind again or without problems?

      You have to make sure that your quad and radio are in the correct mode, ie D8 or D16. They have to match. You can swap modes in Betaflight under the receiver tab.

    Hello,
    I am trying to bind my a Babyhawk 2 O3 ELRS with the Zorro ELRS version. The red light on the receiver is solid and the Zorro even tells me that telemetry is on or when I dosconnect the battery that it's lost. So somehow I think it should be binded.
    But I can't arm the drone. Also Zorro does not do anything in Betaflight. Bars don't move. It's just like it is not their.
    I am actually sure that I updated the Zorro correctly (ExpressLRS) and I also think that I flasehd the Babyhawk correctly.
    I am trying for over one week now and I do not have any idea how to proceed :/
    Can anybody help?

    Hi! Quick question, can i bind my e8 transmitter to the mobula 6 or 7? If not what other happy model tinywhoops can i bind my e8 transmitter?(newbie😅)

    • @TitanFPV
      @TitanFPV  Před 3 měsíci +2

      You’re fine. Welcome to the hobby. So you can bind any Frsky D8 or D16 compatible whoops. You will have to change the protocol to D8 or D16 in Betaflight to bind with whatever your E8 is set to. I believe by default it’s D8.

    Hey That was a great video. I lost my tiny hawk 3 and now I have a FPV kit without a drone. I order the geprc smart 16 with a AC900 receiver to bind it with my EMax E8 transmitter. Right now the problem that I have is that drone and the transmitter bind but nothing is working. Even when I connect the drone to Betaflight the transmitter is no showing on at all. Could you help me figure out what is wrong with it or what Im doing wrong.

    • @TitanFPV
      @TitanFPV  Před 2 lety

      Thank you! By default, the E8 transmitter is in D8 mode. You will have to put in D16 mode to bind with the AC900 rx. Press the power switch and the “L2-” button at the same time: turn on and enter D16 mode, then the mode indicator light will turn solid green. If the AC900 is in D16(frsky) mode, you should now be able to bind it. The AC900 also does Futaba, which you don't want to bind to the Emax transmitter.

      Make sure your channel mapping in Betaflight is correct.

    Do you have a 4 or 5 inch freestyle drone that works on this radio? Which do you recommend?

    • @TitanFPV
      @TitanFPV  Před rokem

      I don’t currently, but I did previously have an Emax Buzz that would work. You just have to be careful with the newer Frsky Xm+ receivers. Most of them ship with newer firmware that makes them not compatible with this radio out of the box. They would have to be downgraded. The Emax Babyhawk 2 3.5” and Happymodel Crux35 (check out my videos on them) come with D8 receiver options that would work. I can’t recommend the Crux35 enough.

    • @TitanFPV
      @TitanFPV  Před 2 lety +1

      Yeah, the Frsky version does come with the XM+, so you should be good. You’ll have to put in D16 mode: press the power switch and the “L2-” button at the same time: turn on and enter D16 mode, then the mode indicator light will turn solid green. Then just follow binding instructions from my video. On the XM+, you have to hold the bind button on the receiver on your drone while plugging in a battery to put it into bind mode. Here is a link to the manual explaining the buttons. manuals.plus/emax/e8-transmitter-manual

    this transmitter is NOT COMPATIBLE with any d8 /d16 receiver, and EVEN IF there was one compatible, you would need a better transmitter to 'fine tune ' and flash proper firmware to it before you can use it with this transmitter.

    • @TitanFPV
      @TitanFPV  Před rokem

      Pretty much anything that has a D8/ D16 receiver. Emax has several quads that would pair well with this. The Tinyhawk Freestyle II and Tinyhawk 3 are good choices.
