I love when riders like Mr. Tonka become great trail ambassadors for their local trails, willing to give tours, and always appreciating their trail boss. Nice job Brian, cheers!
I miss Alafia!! Just moved to San Diego about 9 months ago from Florida (about an hour north from the park) and don’t get me wrong, there are amazing trials out here but nothing beats shedding Alafia!!
Steady Spin is the man! I was lucky enough to ride with him a few weeks back at my local. Stoked you guys got to link up!! Looking forward to seeing the rest of the trip!
@Brian..one day you gonna be my age and wish you had taken more chances on your bike. bikes have been my passion since i was on training wheels. Growing up on bmx through the 80s and the whole freestyle flatland and ramp scene I never took enough chances. never learned to do ramps or simple jumps. never took the time to learn flatland properly and do the tricks i loved. Now approaching 50 i have little time left to prove to myself and end my fears of dying before i live out my dreams. I now ride mt bikes and ride road bikes so i have a whole other set of goals i want to accomplish. Dont let life pass you guys by cause it doesnt stop for anyone..
I've heard way more people say they wish they hadn't taken so many chances in their youth. Both sentiments are out there. Personally, I think it is better to look at things first rather than sending them blind. I'm sure after a few more runs he'd be hitting just about everything. Life really passes you by when you're injured simply for being impatient and hitting quirky features like this blind.
Another great video from BKXC, I'm glad you had the opportunity to come to the Sunshine State and enjoy it even that technically speaking; Florida doesn't have any Mountains but an excellent weather now 🏔 😎🤙
AWESOME! Glad you were able to make it out to our local trails and ride with some of the local shredders. Geo and ATC are absolutely killing it. Hope you can make it out again after they finish some more of the sick projects they have planned.
Whaaaaaat? A couple of those drops made my palms sweat. Can’t wait to go! I went to Jacksonville and total elevation the whole weekend was ten feet! Gators galore!
99.9% of the time a go-pro does not show truly how steep something is, but in this case it showed that .1% lol Keep up the great videos Brian!!!! Being as I'm from MI I'm biking vicariously through you right now.
You hang with all the top MTB CZcamsrs, I'm surprised you don't already have like a half mil subs or something. Some of my favorite vids from BK & Sampler are the ones with you in it. Plus, all this biking has been treating you well. Compared to when I first saw you in your manual machine video, you look younger, fitter, & happier then ever before. Biking must be the secret to eternal youth. It would explain those 70 year old dudes flying past me on the trails.
@@dukeofmtb hahaha. The CZcams algorithm is against me. Something about not putting out videos consistantly. Thanks! Cycling is for sure a way to stay young-ish looking and feeling. I wanna be one of those old shredders!
@@MrTonka Same, I want to shred till my last breath. I spent a majority of my just youth playing video games all day long, and now that I'm 30, I regret it. Hope youtube gives you that break you deserve, you've been making videos for quite a while and doing colabs with everyone. It should only be a matter of time. Anyway, If you guys ever come to SE Michigan, I'm your man. 😉
rollercoaster and the snake jump are our favorites, enjoy FL, after Santos if you head further south Jonathan Dickinson SP, Markham Park and Virginia Key all are great..
Brian, another great vid! 4hrs south and you can ride in my neck of the woods...Ft Lauderdale / Miami. (Johnathan Dickinson, Markham, Virginia Key, Oleta River, etc.) 😁👍🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️🌴☀️
Man I had your outro music stuck in my head the other day and I was like, "Are freakin serious, that is the song in my head!" I miss the puppy on this one though
So Stoked you made the trip and had a great day!! Looking forward to the Santos Video🤘🏽👍🏽🤙🏽!!! Hope this won’t be your last trip down here😉🤙🏽, Live-Life-Loud🤘🏽👍🏽🤙🏽
Love the flavor of trails in different states. What a blast to be able to sample them. Your counterparts have been in AZ but they've been having snow so FL is a great choice.
Clark rd in Lakeland is the place for gators on the trail. Also places of note to hit here, Balm Boyette, Croom, and Grapefruit Trails near Melbourne on the east coast is small but badass.
Dude, been wanting to do a Pacific to Atlantic bike ride in Panama Republic of Panama. I have a house down there so once I set it up I'll let you know. Love the channel, keep up the good work.
Thanks for showing my home trails to the rest if country...we do have a nice mtb community in this area....maybe not great training for Enduro or Downhill but techs skills can be mastered here....definitely great destination for winter riders that are snowed in...summers are more hot and humid and less equitable.
It amazes me at how many hours you have on a bike and the reluctance to hit anything of consequence - small gaps, drops, nope chicken run every time. I don't get it
He makes a living making videos. If he gets injured, he can't ride and make videos. His channel isn't like Seth's where he can make a bunch of hack, install, and review videos. It's all about the trails for Brian.
Fortunately it’s America and other countries. and he gets to do whatever the hell he wants. I and many others enjoy what he does and the day he makes that steep leap will be monumental for all.
I actually like watching him because it shows you do not have to do big jumps or drops to be a good rider and enjoy the trail. At 50 y/o I would rather not get injured, specially since I have a full time job. I'm sure he can kick most of our butts on a technical trail.
I totally get why. I myself love technical trails but want no part of gaps, drops etc. I do not need serious injures, sadly I have had a few anyway. I watch enough mt bike channels and most of the riders have been hurt. Seth is a very good rider but he too has been getting hurt, how long can you do that and still make a living.
This is the best trail I have seen so far.. lot of ups and downs.. a mix of tecnical stuff and hill climbing all in short bursts.. would suit me perfectly.. a shame I live so far away !
So good to have ridden with you. See you on the trails soon.
You know it!!
The look on your face when Brian says he'd give up a toe to a gator! : )
s6p6h I like to party but that’s to far for even me.
I love when riders like Mr. Tonka become great trail ambassadors for their local trails, willing to give tours, and always appreciating their trail boss. Nice job Brian, cheers!
Most definitely!
Dude I see your comments literally on every video it’s insane
Brian, its time to start jumping bud. I've watched you from your first upload and u have the skill. U do. Just go for it.
he is afraid of injuiry
you shouldn't be riding mountain bikes if you are a pussy
@@lucascastro7999 some people just like the aesthetic of mountain biking

Exactly I started biking two days ago and already cleared a 6 oot table top my second try and I got some air and I am perfectly fine
"I want to bunny hop one" 😆🤘
That place looks like the best playground for mountain bikers!! I really liked this video... playful, relaxed and FUN!!
Oh yeah! 🤟
Alafia always looks so damn fun on every single video.
Sqausht Suspension it is
Went there today for my first time MTB. It was a blast !! Stunning place
I love how you get back from New Zealand, then right away leave for Florida. Hardcore dude.

yow, nice collab, mr.tonka and steady is killing it!!
Aarrrgggg.. My home town.. already miss it. It doesn't need to be a mountain climb to get our cardio up there. Nice video Brian!!
I rode Alafia a couple of years ago. Such a great and unique trail system.
Good video Brian, thanks. It still surprises me how good of riding there is in Florida you would think there would be nothing there.

The orange stead is looking so good with that landscape.
It does provide a nice contrast to all the green and grey.

That looks super fun. I'm definitely adding this one to my list of trails. Great video and thanks for continuous inspiration.
That's some crazy landscape!

Awesome video. Glad you enjoyed the Florida mountain biking. I gotta make it to Alafia, looks like a blast
I am so excited. I just picked up a hardtail and ready to go.
That beginning of that first trail reminds me a lot of dry creek in Modesto. Not very many hills but you do what you can with trail building
Great crew and trails🤘🏼
Dude!! Florida Baby! Have a Blast..Markham park.

The terrain on that trail is so unusual, so hard to interpret what's next.
FL mtb trails in a nutshell.. very punchy and unpredictable with a lack of flow and nonstop pedaling lol. somehow still slightly enjoyable.
I loved alafia, the pedaling is totally worth the trails and features.
Looks like a lot of fun. Would love to go there sometime. You make such amazing videos. Thanks for showing us some amazing places!
