- It's true. Thanks to those of you who followed along as I slang smiles for father Bezos, but after 3 years as an Amazon driver, I'm calling it quits. Through the good and bad, I'll miss this job, but it's time for something new!

THANKS FOR WATCHING! (:
Funny I just mentioned you in my next video but now I'll have to edit it. We will all eventually leave Amazon. Best of luck to the future Stu! Looking forward to your future content.
Aw man!😅 It’s true! Appreciate it my friend. The goat!
lol i left after 5 years and came back a year later
I’m glad you were able to give us a look into your world at Amazon. I’ve never seen a employee more dedicated to his job than you are, and you’ve helped so many people with your videos. Exited for what the future has in store for you Stuart!
Thanks mannnn. It was a good ride! Excited for what’s next👍
grats on the move! i've always admired how positive you portrayed work and found joy in the small things. your new gig is lucky to have you! good luck!
Appreciate it, and thank you! Yes, it’s a great fit so far. Can’t wait to talk more about it soon!
You really bring something special to your work, and that's how I know you'll excel no matter where your path takes you. Thank you for bringing us along for the ride. Your insight on the job has elevated the game and benefited folks in more ways than you probably realize.
Hi Stuart, Thank you for many, many super cool Amazon videos. More important, thank you for many other videos of your other job, of you and Kate along with many other topics. Most of all, thank you for being on CZcams and bringing joy to your viewers. I'm looking forward to learning more about your new adventure. Best to you Always.
Thanks Wayne! Don’t worry, more to come! Been a great run with Amazon but I’m ready for something new. See you soon!
Congratulations on your promotion to Customer! I found your channel from the videos you post about Scout (RIP) - I was on the Scout team at the time and new to Seattle. Loved your videos of Seattle neighborhoods, great editing, funny travels. Best of luck!
Scout🥲🥲 Poor little guys! Appreciate the kind words, more Seattle/PNW stuff to come!
I’m so happy for you but I’m also bummed. I’m a little over a month in to delivering for a DSP part time and I’ve learned so much from watching your videos. You have been so helpful and I have improved my efficiency by a lot from watching you. Good luck with your future endeavors.
Part time is the way to go! Glad they’ve helped. Drive safe!
I too will miss your videos, but look forward to what's in store for us. Your videos were actually informative for me to watch before I bought a GoPro and I think you likely drew a lot of people toward Amazon driving jobs. Thanks for those great videos!
Thank you my friend😅 It was fun while it lasted. Enjoy your GoPro!
Sounds like you’re making a big change for the better, and you gotta do what’s best for you! Congrats on the new job and enjoy this new adventure!
Big change😬 Thank you!👍
Congrats on 15k! Good luck on the new job!
Ayoooo thanks man!🙌
First comment?? Wow!
I'll miss your Amazon videos. Can't wait to see what you move onto next, Stuart. (I hope I spelled that right)
Appreciate it! Yep you came in right at the end😅 got some cool stuff to come! (And yes you spelled it right!)
Wow, a lot of things to respond to. Here we go:
1. You're welcome.
2. True, but I always binge watch good CZcamsrs videos (don't worry, I binge watch yours)
3. Can't wait to see what comes!
4. Yay!
@@FridayAdventureClub
Congrats man! I remember watching your videos back when I started and they helped me get prepared that’s forsure! I am now a fleet manager/dispatcher so I rarely deliver packages now. I often get to pull vans that got stuck in a ditch or a driveway, or change tires out on the road. I miss driving around in the CDV’s and step vans but I couldn’t be delivering forever that’s forsure. It’s definitely a great job to have for a bit until something better comes up. Anyway, I love the content you shared on here and I’m glad you moved on from the Amazon delivery grind!
Appreciate it man! An OG for sure! Glad to hear you got an upgrade, hopefully you’re enjoying it. Yeah it’s fun driving but I’m sure it’s nice to take on that extra responsibility/leadership. Be safe out there!
I’m glad you’re doing well. Your outlook and attitude are very positive and I always appreciate your videos. It is a way for me to see parts and insights of the Pacific Northwest as a person from Texas. I hope one day I can visit Seattle.
Appreciate it🙌 Definitely worth a trip sometime, the PNW is pretty great.
Lols @ the thumbnail, glad to hear things are changing for what sounds like the better :)
Keep your dreams, I'll be stickin around for the continual fun from your channel and looking forward to it growing! Less chance for me to bump into ya again now but I'll see you sometime for sure
Sad face😅 appreciate it though man. Yes, lots more videos to come!
I am in the same boat brotha after 2 years it’s time to move on to better things good luck to you on your future endeavors you have helped a lot of drivers with tips and just educating them on the ins and outs of the company salute 💯
Yessir! Good luck to you in whatever’s next! 🙌
Congrats on reaching 15k and cant wait to see your new content
Appreciate it! Big milestone. More to come!🙌
Good luck on your future!! Wish the best for you!!!
Good to see you on youtube Stu and sharing your experience with Amazon. I used to work at the warehouse, on what is now the spheres, and piloted their grocery program at Iwajimaya before they bought Whole Foods! Can't wait to see what to hear about what you got going on next. Cheers!
Whoaaaa to go way back! Very cool. Yes thank you, excited for what’s next! 👍
Oh what a surprise to learn this news from you, (even though it happened a few weeks ago.) You really did make some of the best Amazon delivery driver videos. You also make some other super fun videos to watch about your life and what you love in your area of the world. I'll keep watching you and I look forward to learning of the changes in your work and life coming your way soon. Best wishes to you !!
Thank you so much!🥲 Yep it was fun! Appreciate you following along, lots more to come!
All the best with your new career path! I'll still be following your adventures if you still put out videos!
Appreciate it Gary😎 Yes, more to come!
Amazon is losing a fantastic driver. I wish you all the best in your new job. Ever onward! 👍👏
Thank you my friend! Onto the next🫡
wow, i did my first ride in a EDV here at the mills river facility in NC. i started watching your vids when i started last year.... good luck on your new adventures
You’re kidding! Hope you enjoy the EDV! Appreciate you sticking around all this time, drive safe!
You know what’s crazy! I recently quit too! It’s been so interesting going through this journey over the past year watching your chanell ! From when I just started to when I got to the step van and eventually quit after a year and some change! Loved your channel can’t wait to see what’s to come !
You’re kidding! Appreciate you following along all this time, good luck on your next thing 🤩
@@FridayAdventureClub same to you!
Also man you seem so cool. So chill. I’m glad to have subd. Keep growing.
Hey! Really appreciate it. It’s definitely a tough job and only seems to be getting harder. Definitely depends on DSP. You’ll find your way fam!
I left Amazon delivery (DWA2) a little over a year ago and it remains one of the best decisions I've ever made. I still get PTSD every time I see an Amazon delivery vehicle when I'm out and about. As someone new to Seattle, it was a great way to get out and explore new neighborhoods, and my DSP was cool as heck, but everything else was just too stressful/exhausting. Congrats on getting out, and good luck on the new adventure! Also, thanks for all of the wonderful content you gave us during your time there. You have an incredible talent/passion, my dude!
Wow! Appreciate it so much man! Yeah definitely can be a fun job, it’s just so much work. And unpredictable. Glad you found something new!
Congrats brother.
Delivery anything in Seattle and Bellevue is really bad/nice
Appreciate it! Yes😂 I always loved being downtown or in a cool neighborhood, but the volume is just so high. Would’ve loved to try a Bellevue route sometime!
Wow, shocked! But hey life changes and goes forward….can’t wait to hear about your new job & industry! Hope to see you soon again!
It’s true! Excited to talk about it more. Appreciate it! Also what is your profile picture, is that pie?😂
@@FridayAdventureClub Stuart, my profile photo is of a Montreal style Smoked Meat sandwich! Oh so good!
I’ll have to check it out, looks hearty😅
glad u did what felt right for u.
here for the next chapter!
Appreciate it! On to the next!
Wow Stuart. Really brave of you to quit the job that got you the most views. I know it was just to pay bills and it wasn't ur thing but it made your channel. I loved the amazon vids. Good luck in your new job and i hope you can take us along with you. You are an amazing person and you will excel at whatever you do.
Thanks Randy! 🥲 A little sad to leave, not going to lie. It’s my first time leaving something good to try something new, but so far it’s paying off. Hoping to make a video about it soon, I think you’d be into it!
Congrats brother! "Starting a job at square one that only has a couple of squares anyways" 😂😂😂 facts!
Appreciate it man! It’s true😅 Safe travels! 🇲🇾
AHHHHHH!!! after watching your videos I decided to become an Amazon DSP driver. I've been at it for a few months now here in Texas. I even started my own little CZcams channel. I was gonna call it "swipe to finish", but decided on something else instead lol. Anyhow if you want to see me, Mestizo90 and good luck with your new future, hope you make more videos about it.
I worked in the Kent fulfillment center for 5 years. Some days, i hated it, but there were some days it was great. Got to meet some really great people there as well. Workload was always high there, too, but u get us to it man. Honestly, im thinking about driving in the Auburn, Sumner, Bonney Lake area got a DSP here. But good luck on whatever ur doing. Hope it's working out 🙂
Congrats on moving on to new things! That's insane that all 10 DSPs didn't survive. I can't imagine being a DSP owner, what a terrifying thing.
I hear ya on those slip and falls, this summer was not kind to my right knee. I've got two permanent marks from tripping 😬
Can I have your hat now that you don't need it anymore? 😂😂😂
Seriously, seems like their days are numbered…. And yeah rain + deliveries don’t mix, always a bummer🥲
Send me an email! Fridayadventureclub@gmail.com
Thanks for sharing. Hope to see more soon.
More to come!👍
Thx for sharing. I start driving next week. My expectations are SUPER low. My goal is to try and last for about 6 months doing part time. I'm not young anymore so I have no plans on trying to impress with speed. If I see a sketchy situation I'm out and they can redeliver that package and if my DSP wants to fire me I won't lose any sleep over it. My health and safety is my priority.
Good luck! That’s a good attitude, most DSPs are good but I’ve heard some stories about them putting the pressure on. It’s a chill part-time job but definitely leaves some to be desired.
I just started working at DWA2. Never got to meet you brother but best of luck.
Aye! Drive safe! 😅😅
When is your merchandise is going to available for purchase ?
Nice move. Your life will never change until you start making some changes. I had some good jobs that I also really enjoyed that went nowhere and I had to move on from them, even though they were some of the most fun jobs I've ever had. Looking forward to seeing what's next for you.
It’s true. A little sad to leave it behind honestly, but it needed to happen! It’s my first time leaving something good behind for something new/unknown, but luckily so far it’s paying off!
I guessed and sound like you’re joining Rivian 😂
Hey Stuart, sad to hear you are leaving Amazon. Ironically, I am scaling back my delivery schedule due to a new job I am starting next week. I currently do deliveries 3 days a week but will cut it down to one with the start of the new gig.
I totally agree with you about the DSP model. I have worked for a DSP who has lost its contract with Amazon. The DSP Matrix with Amazon is constantly on the move. DSPs have to be able to dodge and weave and be able to adapt in a rapidly changing environment. Those that can't, will fail the matrix and will lose their contract. It's definitely a tough business. I wish you the best of luck in your new job. I definitely will be interested to see where you land since we are "locals".
Thanks for all of the cool Amazon vids. I have enjoyed them.
Chris! Always great to hear from you. Glad to hear about your new gig, good luck! Yes the DSP game is tough. After seeing all this I’d definitely be hesitant to try. I have some Seattle/PNW video ideas in the works that I hope you’ll enjoy. Talk to you soon my friend!
@@FridayAdventureClub Are you still working at the print shop?
Nope😬 Left it for the new gig!
Kind of glad I'm at FedEx right now then, but they kind of use the DSP model where I'm at in the UK as well. But that's only really to cover staff shortages my terminal has atm
FedEx Ground in the US also relies on contract companies who own routes, wouldn’t be surprised if it’s similar in UK!
@@FridayAdventureClub Yeah it is
is the EDV training like the step van training? Ima miss the step vans :/ i dont like how the edvs dont have the drive side door as a sliding door
the edv training will be similar to the cargo van training (with amazon)
Question I've been meaning to ask for a while, but kept forgetting. Do the reviews left after delivery through the Amazon app make their way back to the delivery person? I've always left good feedback hoping they'd get a bonus or something. Lol
Good question! I never saw a specific comment, but we were graded on Customer Delivery Feedback and were expected to get a high positive feedback rate. So I’m not exactly sure how it works but I think customer feedback does impact a driver’s scorecard to some extent.
Congrats on the new job!
🙌🙌🙌
Today was my first day. No nursery route. 191 stops and the gps went psychotic as often as I can spell. Dispatch was hounding me every 2 hours telling me I’m 5 stops behind.
During loadout we have 20 minutes and they just tossed all my overflow nearly cubing out also my totes weren’t even in any kind of order on the rack.
This job is slavery and at first I was defending it throughout other comments telling them that they are exaggerating. I was so wrong. This place (depending on dsp I guess) is no place for me. Screw Amazon.
Did you end up quitting?
@@Matt-sf4hi absolutely
@@Shinobi117 Nice bro me too 😂 Fuck Amazon they overwork mf’s to death
@@Matt-sf4hi frrr
Any ideas what ur new job is about/doing?
Yep I’m in it! Hoping I can make a video about it soon.
I feel you pain with delivering packages after dark. At fedex they'd make us stay out till 10:30 sometimes and I was very against this, especially considering some packages required signatures. I refused, I did not knock on peoples doors past 8:30
Yeahhh no thanks. Sketchy!
FedEx ground is a lot worst than Amazon. Atleast Amazon doesn’t force us to break hours of service laws. I had my ground contractor try to force me to work over the 11 hour limit. I quit shortly after. Amazon is a decent job, just wish they would get rid of the middle man. The DSP model is broken, leads to lack of communication between DA and Amazon, leads to damaged and dangerous vans because DSP owners are too cheap to fix their fleet, and also leads to lower pay for you since you have to pay your middleman, I meant DSP owner, manager, and HR.
@@angelgjr1999 Fedex ground is worse! However this was Fedex Express!!
i am about to start doing it but i am in between IT jobs and just need something to tide me over until my next IT position
Do it! Part-time is the way to go.
Wow, that's nuts that Amazon fired your DSPs in a 3 year time span 😮
But, you saw that it's just a paycheck and glad you saw the big picture and got out while you're still young to get a career type job instead
2 different DSPs too🥲 Yeah it’s a grind, and Amazon’s current system doesn’t have many incentives for drivers to stay.
As they say “good things must come to an end”
True🥹
This is the first video iv seen of you.. lol I think its cause LaosHouse mentioned you.
Just in time for the end😬 Shoutout to Chris!
I'm wondering if the contracts were not renewed because Amazon was looking for lower cost operators??? There is a limit to squeezing the buck. I read an article today that Amazon is looking to hire 250,000 part time seasonal workers for the holiday season. Last year they hired 150,000. Expected ordering and delivery volume expected to be up significantly. So why screw with DSP partnerships and cancel contracts???
It’s a great question. I’m not sure how refreshing the DSP Leadership every year would benefit Amazon, but it does seem like a pattern at this point. And I mean when they shut down my last DSP half our drivers left Amazon, so they’re definitely shedding some decent drivers. 🤷♂️
THANKS FOR YOUR CHANEL ON CZcams. IAM LEARNING ENGLISH 😂😂😂😂!! GOOD LUCK 👍 YOU MAN
AYEEEE! THANK YOU MAN! 🤩🤩
Never will I undeestand why they stopped us from starting earlier smh
The lady that demanded her packages be sat to the right instead of the left…they would’ve stayed there to the left and I would’ve walked off and ignored her. There are some seriously entitled POS out here. 🙄
Had some quirky encounters that’s for sure😂
YOU GOT PAID $24 AN HOUR?? I got paid $17 an hour 💀
I felt the same when he said that 💀
That Seattle cost of living🥲🥲
Nice eTc shirt 👍🏾
Yessir! 😅 Best in the west!
Might want to edit your channel description...
True😱
You're giving me motivation to quit as well 🤟🏾
Do what you gotta do!
Every dsp gets a score from amazon if they don’t meet the minimum score they kicked out
Would you ever buy anything at Amazon ?
I try to buy local when I can, but yes every once in a while!
3 years!? I quit after a month. The unreasonable workload, bathroom breaks which is peeing in a cup btw LOL! skipped lunches to make up time, walking around neighbor's yard in the dark nobody cares THAT much about their packages to have some random dude in your front yard while you're trying to relax, unsafe neighborhoods, trying to find an address while having people tailgate your van. I found a new level of respect for delivery drivers.
Tough job for sure! 😅
How did you get 24 bucks an hour
3rd year driver in Seattle. Starting is like $20 here now.
If you work for Rivian.... That would be awesome... lol
Were your hours consistent, guaranteed?
It stopped showing your videos to me I actually thought you stopped until now and I had to look up your account...
Yeahhh probably only recommends you the Amazon stuff!
@@FridayAdventureClub hahaha no my CZcams doesn't recommend me anything Amazon related
You need to start a podcast, with a voice like that.
Wow, thanks! I’d love to branch out that way some day, seems like fun.
Bro why is everyone leaving Amazon at the same time?? I left about 2 weeks ago.. Matthew P another youtuber for Amazon left about a week ago and now you?? 😐
You’re kidding! Yeah I saw Matthew’s video too! Just time for something new. Best of luck to you in your new thing!
You are too fantastic to be a DSP delivery driver, but perhaps some Flex in your spare time?
I hadn’t thought about it, but I just signed up😂 I’m on the waitlist!
Hi sir
Good for you my friend. After years as an Amazon customer, I quit. I closed my account after getting robbed by one of their selling 'partners' and Amazon made it impossible to even file a complaint. Amazon engages in deceptive/fraudulent businesses practices. They make it difficult for buyers to know that what they're buying is not supplied by Amazon but one of their selling partners. Many, if not most, of their selling partners supply goods that are used (offered as new), damaged, mislabeled, counterfeit or stolen. If customers complain Amazon falls back on the plausible deniability excuse...'We don't know what our selling partners are doing.' Their 'guarantee' of protecting the customer against loss is an outright lie. I hope Bezos enjoys the $50 he stole from me. He can use it to by a cup Starbucks on Mars.
3 years??? fk bro....I quick after two month..............fk them ..............
I worked in an Amazon FC when they were doing the big push to sponsor employees opening DSPs. While the deal was very generous, my biggest worry was exactly this - that having Amazon as your only customer meant you were screwed if Amazon didn't renew.
Interesting! Yes I’ve heard they’re pushing the DSP stuff to corporate workers even. Curious to see if things level out or if it’s always constant turnover🥲
And that's how Amazon lost their best PR person.
You'd think! 😂
You quit or the dsps you worked for got canned ? So you got canned 😂
DSPs got canned. He outlasted them😢 so his id was still active and jump on to the next sucker, err, DSP that will try to make it work
I only recommend these jobs to people desperate for a paycheck. There is virtually 0 growth working for a DSP. Unless you wanna be dispatcher or lead. 😂😂😂
When is your merchandise is going to available for purchase ?
I’ll put it back up soon! If there’s something in particular you wanted send me an email! Fridayadventureclub@gmail.com
