I Changed my Mind About FPC Podpoi

I've now had my FPC Podpoi for more than six months and I have to admit that I've overcome nearly all my initial misgivings around them. I quite like them! The thicker FPC tethers took some getting used to, but now I feel like they're a fantastic compliment to podpoi and specifically make them feel more like spinning contact poi or sock poi. I find I have to adjust less about my style to accomodate using them and even better! They fit nicely into my shoulder bag.

I got the FPC Pods at Kinetic last year and boy howdy, they're my fav poi ever. The best set I've owned in 10 years
I've been dealing with Harpers ferry WV weather so right there with u and always much love and support
Interesting video..been considering FPC for a while, don't usually use them as love a smaller rope tether or a sock. But going to try pods with them and see how I go. Thanks Drex 😊
Hi, I started to learn poi a month ago and you tutorials are a lifesaver! I am learning orbital and other tricks, but synchronization of hands when should each do something else is crazy hard :D Or maybe better words would be control of poi in those moments

I love the smity rope tethers and I am planning on investing in some fpc teathers as well. I love pod poi so much
I have a pair of Flowmoja with FPC tethers and I think for contact and throws they are really nice. When doing more flowy stuff like flowers or tangles, they seem however a bit too stiff for my taste, especially for the lighter weight PodPoi. But I have a set of practice contact poi by Juggling Calling with 8mm VPC which is much less stiff. So I am waiting for Flowtoys to offer their FPC also in 8mm thickness which I believe would be the perfect fit for my PodPoi. However, the feel of the FPC is more rough on the hands in comparison to VPC.
And I totally agree I didn't think I would like the thin teethers but now I find that I really do but I find myself not being able to do tosses as clean but I think the thicker lead is a definite plus except I don't think u can use the original handles with them
And I kinda wish I would have had this as a option on my order cause I definitely would have gotten the thicker rope 🪢
I also think that the original handles coming with the FPC version of PodPoi or Flowmoja are way too light in comparison and the have kind of sharp edges which I personally find quite uncomfortable to grab. Therefore I exchanged the handles on mine.
Ive converted all my flowtoys poi to FPC and I'm not looking back.
