the title had me scared for a bit there haha. i get those kinds of brainfarts too when switching between certain games :D (had a giggle when you started talking about fall damage which only exists in xcom 2)
He waited for carapace armor before the exalt mission, and then forgot to make the carapace armor… and putting the laser pistol on Giannis

I got nervous when you didn't heal your wounded sniper. He may have gotten a Derp-hit in full cover, but he pulled off one hell of a trick-shot in the end!
Marbs if the enemy turn passes instantly like at 26:00 that means there are no enemies on the map at all
This mission type only has two groups of exalt and once you have cleared them, more won't show up until your agent moves next to one of the comms.

Way back when, I've had kinetic strike miss. I think it was a bug where it would get confused by other nearby targets and was fixed right away. It's been while, but I think if you upgrade kinetic strike, it does 18 damage. But it also doesn't end the turn which means you can use it twice in the same turn if you happen to be next to a strong enemy at the start of your turn.
Yes it does. Two 18HP punches are the stuff that disabled Sectopods fear!

Have you forgotten how to do exalt missions? If your agent taps the signal devices it unloads Exalts weapons for one turn thats why you use assaults as your agent they can run and gun between signal towers and tap them before heading out. You dont have to kill all the Exalt you just need to tap the towers and get out.
Who needs to run from Exalt? 🙂
@@philippealexis With Larger Alien Pods, you may just have to. One thing is two separate groups of three - another is two pods of five and seven more as reinforcements.
@@DinnerForkTongue Be it Data Recovery or Encoder/Decoder, I haven't come across two pods of five Exalt agents though, always just 2 initial pods of 3.
But indeed, there's 3 infamous construction sites and the infamous library one which require that you time the agent's dash to relays quite meticulously to avoid being lethally swarmed.
