Really digging what you putting on here. Have your vids playing back to back. I see you have the dark star and this beauty. I'm leaning towards for bit crushed verb. Does this one do the same job as the Dark Star in crush mode or are they too different to compare. Thanks and keep them coming. Very fresh and new style.
Wow! First off, thank you!!! That means so much to hear, super super appreciate that. Been trying to put a little something special in all my demos, grateful to hear that it’s resonating. As far as these two, yeah they are a bit different. I think the main difference is that you can use the AMA as a straight bit crusher, no verb. That is super fun to mess with! And it’s a really adjustable crusher, both frequency and sample rate. The Dark Star has the crusher attached to the reverb signal. But, it is adjustable to -1/+1 octaves, also with sample rate adjustment. So you can get amazing pitch/crush combos in your verb. Shimmer crush is rad. Can’t make a bad choice either way, honestly, just depends on what features you’re looking for.
It's resonating loudly and clearly over here. I will be checking in for new demos/mixes. I ended up going with the AMA to sit next to my AC Noises Respira Trem/Shimverb. Figure it's a good match. AC Noises can thank you for an AMA sale haha. I'm sure I'll be getting the Dark Star in the future. Thanks again for your help.
