I have a 2019 Yamaha Wolverine X2. I a very satisfied with it. I drive this thing all year long in mud and snow and i have never had a problem with this machine.
Appreciate the feedback.
Taking a look at some of the best side-by-side models with create utility capabilities. Share your thoughts about your favorite models below.
I’ve had a Yamaha Griz for 19yrs with a plow and it has worked a LOT! I have a Polaris ranger 500 that I’ve owned for 15yrs and it is on the move working all the time. Love both.
Good to know, thanks for sharing!
I appreciate the comment by George W. II, mentioning an overheating issue. I presume he’s only speaking of the newer rendition of the Wolverine (2018- onward with 847 CC engine). Or maybe the newest Viking version (2014- onward). I’ll inquire further. Other than that I’ve only heard “better” by comparison end user comments. I plan to buy a Wolverine.
Caterpillar now sells both a gas and diesel version for both 2 & 5 passenger. Very well built with a roomy cab, big switches and extremely quiet. We used to rent Polaris from our local Cat dealer and had issues with electronics, doors, etc. The Cat machines are designed for construction and harsh utility sites.
Thanks for your input! Will familiarize myself with these new models
I acquired a 2021 Yamaha Viking 700 SE Realtree Camo, awesome machine, we love it
Well done. Current and includes all major contenders. From lots of reading it’s good to see the reliably rated Yamahas (Viking and Wolverine) with likely the best CVT and full lock differential.
Did you happen to find a model that suits your needs best yet?
Yamaha Wolverine X2 all the way!!! I have a 2020 X2 and it is literally bulletproof. I have a group of 7 people that all have X2’s, we ride them pretty hard and they have held up amazingly. If I was going to recommend one to someone, I would definitely recommend the Yamaha Wolverine X2.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Weekly rides a bunch of us run along creeks, rivers, hills all around riding ...only Honda and Yamaha /did not have problems.......kawasaki,Polaris,kymco,suzuki ,husin, can am,threw belts and were done for the day
Thank you for a really good review. if the 2021 pioneer 1000-5 LE just ordered is half as good as the Honda VTX I've had since 2001. I will not be let down. Reliability of Honda is many levels above. I cant see myself buying anything but a Honda. I plan to be using this pioneer 25 yrs from now, if Im still alive. Not the most powerful or best looking of the bunch but reliability is enough. Just my personal experience. Its a retirement gift from my wife after 25 years in the US Army.
Hope you enjoy every moment using your new purchase.
After watching this, I'm more confused because their all good.
What about the CF Moto u force?
Honda Pioneer all the way. 20 years from now it will still be going strong.
One Good Turn Gets Most Of The Blanket maybe. Recall after recall with the 1000, the 700s have no power with a 3 speed rincon tranny
@@off-roadnpew2183 Recalls were mostly for free upgrades and were for the first 2 years of the model
@@off-roadnpew2183 lol over rated these days
Have a pioneer 570 from Polaris and it’s had so many problems just making it to 1200 miles . Piece of poop in my opinion
Sucks. Which model will be replacing that Polaris?
Sir i already watched this all im saying is based on this and on any other videos that you uploaded what is the BEST for farming that can go to sandunes ,river, etc.. it must have the automatic tilting cargobed, quality materials, and cheapest of them all
The list is awesome, thanks for the video, we understand you work really hard to compile and organize the video .
It does take some time, but I enjoy it. Which of the UTVs did you like the most?
@@automotiveterritory almost all of them.
that list is terrable
gregory mandile, kinda like your spelling and that wasn’t a French accent.
I Love my 2021 Viking 700 SE Realtree Camo
I’m completely new to this stuff. Which sxs would be best for a 25 acre property with woods. I’m looking for a perfect mix of work and play for all year round!
Very very nice 👍
Did you happen to choose your favorite one?
I love the Yamaha Viking 3 seater it is awesome one day I will have one ☝️
Just bought a 2019 John Deere 835M with HVAC and love it!
Great choice. Hope it serves you well.
865r wouls of been better but little bot more exspensive
Very good one but why there were not the 865r? There were only smaler one the 835. The 865 would of been 1st or 2nd
I got the 2016 Honda pioneer. Honda’s are always bullet proof. Polaris is affordable junk.
How much did you get yours for?
Which of them has the highest payload ??
Would love to have one of these !
Which one is your favorite though?
@@automotiveterritory honda ....maybe.... and polaris
Did u also know that Case international and Newholland massy Ferguson bobcat haybob kioti kubota also makes them too
How about the Kioti Mechron 2200PS, a 1 litre diesel?
Honda is the Best on Earth!!
9:15 my dad has that one it is really really powerful I recommend you getting that one!! But it’s up to you if you are an adventures person like me!!??
Looks great. Did you get a chance to ride it?
Where’s the intimidator side by sides at they have a hell of a line up as well
Must have missed them. I will look into their lineup
I think either Honda or Yamaha
What about Kubota's line-up?
Artic cat are the best for not making alot of noise
What about the Intimidator brand that makes the Mahindra UTVs ?
Sure wish I had a Mahindra. Good looking vehicle.
Is it your favorite of them all?
What about the tracker line up
I am interested in the Odes X-F6 due to come out in Sept. or Oct maybe? For the 2020 model year. I get 90°F tempts even in Jan. & Feb. Summer here is in triple digits! It lasts until Oct. Oct is in the 90's & 80's. So only have 2 seasons. The UV rays are so intense, that just walking to the.mailbox cooks your arms. You literally feel as if your arms just got dropped into a deep Fryer! So shade & Air Cond. are a requirement. Also, I have Country dog's, they love to chase Jack rabbits & other country dog's, so doors & windows prevent them from jumping out of my moving vehicle.
The X-F6 has push Button Start, navigation, etc all for less than the Polaris North Star
It's great to hear that you have found a model that suits your needs perfectly.
By the way, while reading your description of the place where you live,I couldn't but imagine you living on Mercury, not Earth ;) sooo hot
Hahaha! My special Hell is called Texas! Deep South Texas to be exact. Right by the Mexican border. 78585, 78505
I called Odes & told them my closes Dealer was 4.5 hrs. away, so 9 hrs round trip. They said they would deliver to me if I bot from them directly. I just don't know enough about Odes.
Have you looked at the Cub Challenger 750 EPS? From Cub Cadet.
No. But I will check it out, appreciate the suggestion. Is it any good?
I like the Honda
A great option for sure
I can't wait to go to Moab again! Hopefully next time I'll bring my own ATV. Thanks for this video. It's very informative and gave me a better idea on what's out there on the market.
Hey there! I'm glad I was of help to you! This is exactly how I want people to treat my videos... Get an idea of what is out there and continue the research by watching more reviews by true experts.
I appreciated this video but would have been nice if I had stated whether they were belt or chain drive on each model. It did clear up the Honda pioneer was a good vehicle with no belts to burn.
Defender 💪🏻
Is it your favorite option?
@@automotiveterritory yes 🤩
So the polaris General.. All the photos are showing it with the bed extender. This is saying It needs a larger bed.
I purchased a CF Moto 1000 I noticed you didn’t review that CF Moto I was considering getting a Kawasaki or a Honda CF Moto was a fair price and it had had been a pretty good machine for us so far I would highly consider looking into CF Moto’s product they’ve been around for a long time 12:17
I just came from a ATV dealer and almost pulled the trigger the Mule XC , the bench seats are the most uncomfortable seats, the back rest only goes half way up the back. If your doing miles of trails all day how do think you back is going to fell?? I sat on the Yamaha Wolverine bucket seats and HO yea there really feel much more comfortable. Kawasaki doesn't even have after market bucket seats to offer, they better change that SHIT!! if they want to make better sales. Ps: If your wondering the Yamaha was to much money for me.
The Yamaha Viking has an overheating issue. Once I replaced the fan to a Moose Fane, will wall cover to stop the mud from clogging up the radiator, adding a in line temperature gauge. The overheating went away. There are quite a few people who have had this issue. I sent this to Yamaha but not sure if they hard me loud enough. They should really do a recall. Other than that it's an outstanding machine.
Thanks for sharing. Will upvote your comment so that you experience could be of help to the other owners
I’ve never had or heard of any of my friends had an overheating issue. Our only issue is their under powered single cylinder. We upgraded to a teryx and never looked back
They have to be able to understand you before they can listen to you! "Moose Fane, (???)... "will wall cover to stop..." (???)...
I jus can't understand how these r more than some nice used trucks. How n why?
How about Kubota, they have side by sides in the UTV class?
You are right. I totally missed it
@@automotiveterritory what about cub cadets utv?
Looks like that manufacturer was missed as well. Keep them coming, I will educate muself
Kubota not vary fast but will definitely out pull anything listed on this channel and looked after will outlast any of them too
Jim White hopefully i will be buying one soon, looks like a workhorse UTV.
Maybe a Kawasaki Mule 4x4 trans next time. Where does this fit?
What about Kubota? I think they make excellent UTVs.
Yes, the Kubota is most definitely one of the most durable and strongest utility vehicles on the market. I would have the RTV 1140c over anything covered in this video.
I was going to say the
Same thing we're is kubota sidekick
There's not ten manufacturers that make UTV'S. It should be top 3 Utility and top 3 sport UTV.
What is this belts to burn crap I always hear about? I have had a couple of Polaris machines and never burned up a belt. I had a 600 sportsman that I used to haul in materials to a remote cabin site that included hills and mud. Never had a problem and there were times I had my feet on the front rack to keep them out of the water. Then I think of all the miles I have put on snowmachines which have twice the power and rpm.
@Mikef1r3 Really? I have been running my 900 Ranger for 4 years now and have never had a belt problem. I run in a lot of mud and muddy water too. We wear Mucks in the Ranger because we go through a lot of deep muddy water.
You left out one of the best utv. The bobcat uv34. Makes most of these look like little toys
I will look into it. Thanks for the suggestion
Mule pro fxr
Yanmar Brahma? Very nice diesel machine.
Thanks for bringing this one up. I will check it out.
Please consider taking a serious look at Mahindra's other side by side or UTV called the Roxor.
I will, thanks.
Top 10Best first cars?
Hey there. Im currently looking into this topic. Cant decide what models to include. Common sense dictates including only used affordable models
I have a Honda Pioneer 1000 EPS and I have to say ; It's the best do it all vehicle I've ever owned. Also, I would never trust a vehicle on a hill that uses a rubberband in the drivetrane. Oh I'm sorry, I meant a belt.
When bro thinks he’s funny at the end
Which one is the best utility UTv for less 10k
i wonder if they make one with a diesel motor
Can't think of one from the top of my head
Kubota does
This was good info but it is not a review just a copulation of specs and sales numbers.
We had a 2010 Polaris 500 mid size that we like a lot and absolutely abused that thing for almost 10 years. That ranger was indestructible. We sold it and the wife got her own Polaris ranger 1000XP and then for play I got a Polaris RZR 1000. The ranger has a ton of storage and is very nice and comfortable. We plant food plots with it and use it for work around the place instead of my pickup. My wife uses it for something every day. I am sure that all of the machines on this list are good but for us the Ranger was the best choice.
Hi there. Thanks for your feedback and personal experience with. I hope this video wasn't a waste of time for you. I would like people to treat my content as a brief overview of what is out there, and if anything in particular catches the eye, then I recommend watching content from expert channels.
I see a LOT of used Polaris for sale out there. Hardly any Hondas though.
I wish this video was in English.
I'd really like to get a work vehicle like one of these, but don't want to go ICE. Can't wait until they make a serious one with an plugin electric power-train.
Plug in hybrid, not all-electric?
@@automotiveterritory All electric is the ONLY way to go. It's the future, people should try to embrace it, not ... fight it.
EVs today as slowed down by the battery technologies. Once those get better, the industry will bloom.

I like mahindra retriever
That's a very nice choice.
Thanks
Electric toys only (affordable) and I will subscribe
You left the Kubota RTV 900
I will check it out, thanks
I think you missed the best crossover between work and play to my mind in the longest running model too the Kawasaki Teryx which is still in high demand fin both the 2 seat but particularly maintains the same mid-wheelbase but looses not tray area like Honda's Pioneer does as the only other model that keeps the same wheelbase going from 2-4 passengers its got an unbreakable wet continuously synchronous mesh CVT that can take huge weight and you can upgrade the heads to 1000cc for $1000USD for 100HP and higher spec upgrades are available. Its current model is unchanged in many years proving the model over the test of time. I havent been able to buy any SXS myself but I have talked 3 friends into driving them and buying them against other brands. If I had to select from the list shown it would be the New Can Am Commander 6x6 because you could make that a very sporty sand dune cockroach.
Hey, Gavin! Appreciate your comment. I'm actually scratching my head right now, wondering why Teryx didn't make it to the lineup. I totally overlooked it, my bad. Will upvote your comment so that other people will learn about this Kawasaki as well. Cheers!
@@automotiveterritory Thankyou and have been hoping with all my heart the upgraded the heads to 1000cc for years on the production model to increase their sales against the Nth Americans but now it seems we will very shortly get a new Kawasaki in thew sports mode, I hope they dont drop the Teryx just because they upgraded the mule to look more like it.
Very excited to see what Kawasaki do in a sports model as they never let their motorcycles loose an engine war and its currently set at 196 by Can Am, the predicted 215hp for the 2020RZR RS not coming true and instead coming in at 185hp.
Those horsepowers keep rising. I see a day when they fully fair side by sides and start racing them on a Formula 1 track ;)
@@automotiveterritory You have seen the new of road rules for SXS for 2505CC enhanced and 1200cc naturally aspirated havent you? Jimco were even building a chassis for it and was on their website until the start of last year (replaced the page with a cage when they pulled out) when I think the US baulked at it as major producers threatened $$ sponsor withdrawl but was available on Finke Australia this year (nobody had a car ready) they run one with a WRX motor (800+hp that if you have the money to race it in the dust) next year Im sure if you do some engineering and mid-mount it. These are new classes on top of production.

Does it really matter. I have one, it works great.
Owning a new Kubota XG850 has been a nightmare. It has serious mechanical design flaws in the 4WD and clutch system. Parts replacement will not resolve these design problems. Kubota will not honor their warranty without a lawsuit. They have been sued over and over for failing to honor their warranty when the defect is widespread and super expensive to resolve. We will never buy from Kubota again.
