Please help. I cant find the option anywhere now. There are no such settings. Edit info doesnt include the name of page. The last i changed the name was a year back but now there's no such option neither on desktop nor on phone.

Hey! I don't believe it does anymore, I know back in the day changing a page name sent a notification to followers for regular pages but I don't believe it does that anymore/don't think it does that for business pages. Hope this helps!

The business page I manage will be changing names at the end of Aug. How soon would you recommend I start to try changing the name (and allowing for delays and such) to time it with the company name change? Thanks!
That's completely up to you. It may take up to 3 days for Facebook to approve your new name if that helps!
How did you manage to get LYFE in capitals? My FB won't let me do that and my business name has an Acronym.
Hello! We first made our page about a decade ago, so things may have been different back then! But if your business name is an acronym, it should let you publish in all caps according to Facebook: facebook.com/help/519912414718764

BTW, it looks like they changed things again. I didn't find it where you said. It looks like things changed and i had to go to Business Suite and > General Page Settings to change it. It says it will take 3 days to reflect the change. Thanks!

New subbie! So i am really struggling to change my page name. or "store name" When i was filling out the info it said to make sure page was described to what it's about so i put "Luxury candles" instead of my username name, or business name. So now i am stuck with "Luxury candles" being my store name. I do not see anywhere where you showed that it says "change page info" like literally anywhere. Can you help?

Clear and to the point vid. Thanks! It didn't work for me. I have changed the name of the brand from 'Holy Simcha" to "Holy Simchas". I just want to add as "s" to the end of the second word. When I follow you instructions I get this message "Creating content with this name is not allowed. Try another name." I tried 20 different ways and nothing works. Do you have any experience or suggestions?
Does the person trying to change the name have permission to do so on the page? I've never experienced this issue, but I'm seeing people online who were having a similar issue and that was the problem. Let me know if this helps and if not I'll see what else I can find!

I have done the above and changed my username at the same time as changing my profile name but FB won't change the profile name -it's currently Paulette Contessi - Home Realty and I want to change it to The Contessi Group - but it just won't do it and I can't find a way to appeal or ask FB why. No, your business page acts as a separate entity from your personal page!
Will I loose my business page followers if the user name changes too?
If i make a post with an edited page name, will my followers be confused ?
You won't lose followers because you changed your name, however people may unfollow you if they don't recognize your name. So maybe make some posts warning people about the name change and letting them know what the new name is going to be so they don't get confused!

Thanak you for your video. I followed the instructions and I tried to edit name. I did what it said , however, I can't see where it changed anything. It says that I have to wait 60 days for any change. How can I see where the change happened?
Hey! So, when changing your name it may take up to 3 days to reflect the change. Once approved you should see it immediately, and the 60 days is just how long you have to wait to change it again. Hope this helped!

It could be a handful of things. Do you own the page? If not, you may not have access to those abilities. Have you tried to change it recently? There's a limit to how often you can, I believe it's every 60 days.

Click on your profiles Account ( Round Picture) > then settings and privacy > then settings

When setting up a page, a business can choose an appropriate name to appear on the page. There is no technical restriction on choosing this name, and it is perfectly possible for two businesses to operate pages that display the same name. However, somebody who uses a name to try to pose as an official page of another business without permission could face legal consequences and may violate Facebook's terms and conditions.

Have you tried to recently? Facebook has a limit that only lets you change it once every 60 days.
@@LYFEMarketingAtlanta no… this was the first time we tried to change the name. It says we have limits but our page shows no violations. Except for we are a church and not sure if someone else has flagged us for just being a church .

The main menu has changed. I had to go into Business Suite then click Page Info.

Hey! Here's how you can change it on your phone: go to your menu (lower right corner), click settings and privacy, click settings, click Page Settings, click name, and then you can change it from there. Hope this helps!
