I started raising meat rabbits. In my search for good recipes, this is the second time I've come across a recipe like this. I'm still trying to understand why going through the process of breading and frying a crispy exterior only to smother and bake it to lose the crispiness. I'm new to this. Love crispy chicken fried steak. There has to be a good reason to fry and then smother it in the oven. Help me understand. đThank you.

My grandmother would take and fry the rabbit, then take an empty some of the grease out of the skillet, leaving the fried whatâs left in the skillet from the rabbit, then put onion in sliced onion with flour and sautĂ© it with the onion add some water till it become a little soupy, then put the rabbit back in and let it finish cooking till the rabbit is tender. Only halfway cooked the rabbit when frying. Oh my God it is so good over rice. I hope that answers your question. Bon appĂ©tit, baby and have a beautiful day.
