The collapse of the Berlin Congress Hall is a reminder that prestressed concrete structures have to be constantly checked for corrosion.

What has a ship ramming the bridge got to do with engineering failure?

I question the reasoning of using a neuroscientist to give any meaningful input and commentary regarding structural and forensic engineering practices. If they’re just reading off a script, having commentary from a chef, journeyman electrician or plumber would be just as relevant.

christ do the producers have any idea about who is appropriate to interview, like that Asian engineer waffling on about the pickup bouncing off the ship, an absolutely pointless useless statement
