@@ritamix33 a month late, but not distracting him, Gene also explained this, they weren’t supposed to stop at any red lights, but the car Big was in didn’t stop at the red light mainly because BIG was trying to talk to some girls, that’s when Gene looked back and noticed, then he saw the car pull up and seen the guy pull the gun out, he said “somebody’s pointing a gun a BIG!” Then he heard the gunshots then they turned around, and he pulled BIG out of the car when he died
Thank you for this great interview and video. I like that you asked the relevant questions and even apologized again. My mom's friend loss her son at City College that day and based on what she shared I never trusted or respected Puff. I believe that there were sacrifices made that day (City College) to get him on the map and Biggie / Tupac were the other sacrifices to propell him to where he is now.
Just finished listening to this podcast and, I'm listening to it again here. This was a very excellent interview. Gene Deal gave a-lot of good information.
