Literally, these play test videos are all the evidence I need for the difference in ability between me and Noah. I can barely breathe during a session much less do a whole video with me talking as I strike a ball.

Agree but with this caveat, is it worth getting the 2g/3g as a pro? Or is it too flat and dense and not aggressive enough to actually play in?

These are incredible, I have the regular laced model and it all just feels perfectly put together. Upper, last and soleplate, weight and support are perfect. I haven’t loved an adidas boot like these since the 2014 F50’s. As a bonus I scored my first hat-trick debuting these straight into a match so they’ll always be special for me.

Honestly, adidas hasn't made a pair this good in a few years, and for me it's the best predators ever, and simply one of the best pairs ever. And it's also been a long time since Nike and Adidas released 2 absolutely brilliant pairs in the same year, it's a *remarkable* year for football boots😉

I got the same solar collow way elite TP and they are okay imo. Not what you would expect from a $300 boot like adizeros or superflies... just decent $150 shoes imo.

I got a pair of the Roteiro Preds and am excited to try them in warm ups on turf before we start playing on grass in May. They look too nice for me to want to wear them on the dodgy FG pitches we have to use in summer.

Tekela v4+, GX2
Hey Noah great video and review! I recently got the NB tekela v4 pros the Tim weah colorway! Thanks for the recommendation because my mercurials were killing me. I love the look and really want these predators, is it worth upgrading from the Tekelas to these? Im not the most frequent maybe a few times a month playing games, and a few times practicing on my own but I have a coupon so the predators would cost $200. Sorry for the long comment but keep up the great work!
Thank you mate! I don't think the Predator is an "upgrade" from the Tekela... the Tekela stands on it's own as far as comfort! If you're happy with the tekelas, I'd just stick with those!

Hey Noah… in terms of lockdown from the Predator, GX1, and GX2, can you give a ranking of these three in terms of lockdown/ responsiveness? and then in your opinion, can you also give a ranking of the three in terms of comfort?
It all depends how they fit YOUR foot and what the shape of the boot is. For my foot, the ranking from best to least best:
1) GX1
2) GX2
3) Predator
They're VERY close though

Hi Noah, Just curious does the tongue cushion the ball? As sometimes I train shooting with cheap heavy balls and I hit it on the laces many times. Slowly it starts to hurt on the top of my feet. So do you think tongue will cushion the shots?

Great review Noah. Got my elite ft pearlized today! From a usual mercurial size 9 to the pred 9. I noticed it’s much roomier and a bit more space at the end of the toes. Do you think the hybrid touch synthetic will shrink and mold after some sessions? Or am I out of luck on a tighter fit?

Hey Noah, I want to try the furon v7 but idk what size to get. You said to try going about .5 size up but I still have a finger width of space, Should I still go half a size?
From your normal US size, go 1/2 size up. It may be different in EU or UK depending on the brand

I’ve just purchased the white silver ft version but i’m hearing a lot of stories about soleplate cracking. Do you think that or the potential snapping of the elastic band is something to worry about?

IF I fit in any speed boot, I'd probably still pick the Morelia Neo 4 Beta MIJ or Furon. Excellent products. The Vapor is on that list too, but not sure if I'd like it as much

Hey, I bought the Pro version for $150US. I’ve never owned a pair of Adidas cleats but I really like this one. However, my right foot is slipping out of the boot. It seems shallow. I replaced one but the second is the same. Thoughts on what to do (outside of returning #2)? Update 2 days later: I replaced the Pro for the Elite after watching another CZcams video stating the shallowness issue does not apply to the Elite. So far so, my right foot is in place and feels secured.
Nice mate! Love to hear you enjoy it. Your feet are probably different sizes, which is why only the right foot is slipping
I have the Predator Freak.1 in UK7.5, I’m a UK7 in normal shoes but had to size up as I have slightly wide feet. Would a UK7 in these be ok or would I have to size up again?

As you’ve played with these on AG for some time, has their sole plate cracked? Seen plenty of cracked sole plates but I would definitely want to buy the tongue version instead of AG without the tongue.

That's class mate! I'm sorry to hear about your right foot though. Maybe you have different sized feet. They'll stretch yes.
Does the lockdown improve if you have the strap under the middle of your foot?
Not really, no. Won't make a difference where you put the tongue

Haven't tried them, but I'm sure they'd be decent for AG!

No, get the length right and then figure out which silos fit the width. If your feet don't fit with the right size length, probably not the right shoe for you

I generally have issues with shoes not being wide enough, I went true to size on the elite without the tongue and they do stretch to feel really good but snug (in a good way) at the same time like he said
i have wide feet and never have been able to fit into adidas boots. i have these new predators and they fit me well true to size. it also helps that its not a one piece upper
Probably not mate, it's important to get boots that fit the length of your foot and then figure out which models will fit the width. These will fit most people, but you might find the Tekela (1/2 size up) and the GX2 (True to size) fit a tad widder
