Yet another example of why Donna should have NEVER been more than a secretary. She wasn't qualified to be a senior partner, and she isn't qualified to be COO.
Holly will not betray her employer until Malik blackmails her with her shady past.

I’m with you. She’s bossy, overly emotional, rude, constantly makes assumptions, and speaks to her bosses in a way that would get anyone in the real world fired immediately
I thought donna knew everything but then interviews the new girl and doesn't know the story?
She went into that interview with one feeling in mind, which she's done in prior seasons just rarely so people forget. She's made small mistakes when her emotions cloud her judgment
Because she already set in her mind that Holly is untrustworthy, it doesn't matter what Holly said, she'll still say Holly is untrustworthy

The audacity donna has to have a say no in hiring a much more competent person than her. She is probably the most annoying undeserving character in this show
If you watched the show, you saw that Donna didn't challenge Holly's professional qualities, but the fact that she betrayed her employer.
And if he betrayed once, he could do it again.
Problem Suits has is that they handled their female characters poorly, so when Gina moved on and Meghan went to become Dutchess of Netflix the only one left is Donna so better make her COO real quick, put her on par with males. Doing this with Dona basically squashed every argument against Mike Ross practicing law.

@@xtehmoonlight7400 Because Harvey has known Donna for 12-14 years, he knows her character and loyalty and trusts her and knows that if she made a mistake, it was to protect him.
And about Holly it turned out that she was right. She was the one who provided information to Malik.
Suits’s biggest issue was the bad writing in the later season after Jessica left

Yep, i hated Donna the last few seasons. Ruined the show for me. She really thinks shes smarter than she is, and vefore you women all jump down my throat saying its only because shes a women, then why dont you explain why I think Jessica is the smartest and best character on this show? Better and smarter than Harvey. Your reasonings wouldnt add up
