also, this is part of the greatest aircraft sale on the marketplace until the end of this weekend, it's ridiculously cheap there at the moment.
Bought it at a staggering 5 euros!
It was so cheap I almost bought it again there because orbx were being so slow with the update (they STILL haven't made the update available). Then P42 posted that Contrail had the update oh and BTW you can transfer your licence to them from Orbx ... Filled in the form on Contrail, 3 hours later had the update :)

You can turn on the wind vector on your PFD, helps a lot when arriving at strips out in the middle of nowhere but also good if you don't see the windsock. I don't fly this without it. Agree with you about the flight model, I've started flying with real weather since I last flew it but that wouldn't explain how lively it is. Try the stage 2, it blasts around 30 knots faster than that one :) And there are steam gauge versions of the stage 1 and the stage 2 in the pack now :)

Northern AZ is beautiful! I'm curious to see the state of FS2024 on release. As well, which addons will be ready? Even with sim updates dev's have to usually go in and make tweaks.

About MSFS 2024 - It should be called MSFS 2025 since it'll be released towards the end of 2024, that's why Microsoft and Asobo should give their upcoming flight simulator a numbered version, MSFS 12 rather than the year it was released. FSX was FS 10, and it would have been more appropriate to name MSFS 2020 MSFS 11.
Officially it’s called Microsoft Flight Simulator. 2020 is used by the community. I agree that they should number it like X-Plane does. Also it’s weird that people use MSFS instead of MFS since Microsoft is one word not two lol
