It's unusually chilly for late April ......
Makes me thirsty, like pretzels.
Good cape weather, cool, breezy
I’m with him on the small talk thing
Why do they call it small talk? The voices can be big, people are usually big, they should call it big talk!
The stop and chat
I love Seinfeld ❤ thanks for working so hard 😊
The chilly in March stuff is hilarious and absolutely spot on.
I disagree, both topics of conversation he mentioned seem to be about nothing. You would think that he would enjoy talking about nothing.
I 100% agree with him on the small talk thing. The idea of talking about anything - which always leads to something - cuts into the silence and peace of nothing and then forces both sides to drop everything.
“It’s chilly for late March.”
It also was the year the Roman Emperor added two months to the calendar.
Why do they call it small talk? The voices can be big, people are usually big, they should call it big talk!
That’s gold Jerry, gold!
It used to be called midget talk.
Yeah, Julius & Augustus, now we’re talking
Thanks
What he says around 2:00 is me in a nutshell. The complete lack of interest and I could never figure out how others could be interested either. Mentally it's like his bit about being a kid laying on the floor in the bank completely bored out of it.
Everyone's bored lol, it's just ice-breaking. Nobody's actually fascinated by that shit, when you meet eyes with someone in an elevator you're going to mention how fascinating it is that the calendar expanded by 2 months?
@@Jarthvader You're absolutely right.
I actually physically recoil at the thought of small talk. I just nod awkwardly because it always just feels like redundant dead end statements that leave me wondering why the obvious is being discussed. Even worse if I try to feign participation in it
Jerry is great he’s not interested in small talk but talks for a living
He scared me when he said "2 months were added to the calendar"....I was thinking it was going to be 14 now. But he was talking about a long time ago.
😄
0:33 No angst
0:38 Things don't always go well
0:47 Most people in show-business aren't even that happy
This is me. This is all me.
Same. Although, I do like talking about seemingly, taken for granted type topics that appear minor, but have real meaning, to me. Definitely not it's chilly, but the fact people say that due to their own awkwardness or habit...that, I have a little interest in.
Same. Quite a few guys can relate to this, but unless you have a really good talent that garners attention or admiration then be prepared to live a life of solitude.
I also cannot do small talk. there are many more interesting things I'd rather talk about, but when I bring those up, people look at me strange. so, weather it is
That's like saying holding a door for someone is uninteresting so you don't do it lol. Nobody's genuinely interested in small talk, it's done out of politeness to bridge a situation that's awkward for both people. Jerry's ego getting the best of him yet again by legitimately believing 95% of the population finds the weather to be the most interesting thing in their lives.
I still have to stop and watch seinfeld whenever I see it on
I thought I was the only one who couldn't do small talk, Im probably on the spectrum but jerry is probably too to a very small degree
he's right, late March sucked
yeah, it seemed unusually chilly, no?
@@lynnturman8157 It's true. It was unusually chilly. So ... uhm ... that's true.
Alsoapril
1:00 - a lot of them are what? Cant make out what Jerry said.
Miserable. It's a sin to be miserable when you have so much opportunity.
@@konroh2 thank you
So the meaning of life is? (no small talk allowed)
I mean...what's the deal with small talk? And who measures it?
Come on people, am I right?
….just to be clear…low talk and close talk are ok??
Jerry is as NYC as it gets lol
2 mins. Social interaction and small talk, the head in the hands, the ‘what do you say now’. Yep. All of that. Same. You’re so aware of what this pointless small talk is, it makes you self conscious to the point of mentally running into a dead end. Envious of ppl who can do the social engagement/small talk thing but it all come down to, fundamentally, I just don’t care enough to go through the motions of the interaction. The effort required isn’t justified.
Nice hair Jerry. For not caring about trivial things on this wild ride we call life, why do you care about your hair?
Same with me, can't stand small talk.
I absolutely hate small talk. Like why are you wasting my time?? I rather stay consumed on my own thoughts. Don’t you have other things to think about small talker??
as much as i fell into Curb like it was a language of my own, i never understood Seinfield, the arrogance and posing, just not funny, repulsive even, like spoiled
This guy is r*ping viewers with his Seinfeld bytes
The more interviews Jerry does…the more his legacy gets tarnished. His humour hasn’t changed, it’s the new felt condescension coming from him that I find difficult to take.
Did Jerry have hair restoration? He seems to have more coverage
