What of these 115 charges? Is it bogus? Is it real? Ian Wright said “it isn’t fair for this team to have this hanging over them?” Alan Shearer thinks the charges have nothing to do with players going out and winning trophies. Richard Keys and Jamie Carragher believe the opposite, as does Simon Jordan from TalkSPORT.
Everton and Nottingham Forest were deducted points and survived relegation. If Manchester City had been deducted points we would’ve won the league. Is that how we want to become champions? When will this madness end? Do we have to let it go?

All great observations in discussing the allegations and 115 charges against Man City.
What I don't understand is why all 115 charges need to be dealt with in one go rather than successively. After all, Everton were charged and punished for repeated offences. City's charges relating to not cooperating with the investigations could, for example, be dealt with separately. For me, not cooperating with investigations is a serious enough charge in itself and warrants a strong punishment.

Too much money involved for justice to prevail. Corruption top to bottom, the rules will be changed to allow the money machine to continue to function.

As per usual an excellent show Sophie, and a great guest. I think if one reflects on the season it really becomes apparent just how fine the margins are, but clearly that would apply to others as well as us. The only cloud is the one that is basically the elephant in the room. I think credit to City for still having the hunger to keep going after their previous success, but that credit is only really due if they are cleared of any wrongdoing, and the longer it takes to come to decision the worse the scepticism over how the success has come about will grow.
Anyway thanks for the fantastic content through the season, and also for being good enough to respond to pretty much all of my comments 👍, I imagine I talk some drivel on occasions but hopefully that a minority of the time, and don't forget if you ever wanted to chat about my exploits refereeing in the lower depths of the Football pyramid I'd be delighted to bore you for an hour 😂.

As good as Arsenal have been this year our Squad just have difficulties fighting on multiple fronts. A good off season in the transfer window to increase the quality in depth will do a lot for next season .The inclusion of Obi Martin . Saka , Rice and Odigard need to be rotated at times and Partey needs to be replaced , a great player but injured to much . The players that need to go , Nelson and Eddie and also we will probably should loose the Smith and Rambo as they are to good not to play every week , sadly .Elneny and Soares are off contract. 3 players need to come in as a minimum 4 if Partey leaves . Interesting Times.

Amazing how everyone swoons over City and how far above us they still are. The season easily could have gone another way with us being only slightly better in the first half of the season and/or City being slightly less lucky in any game that they won or drew. It’s small margins. We can easily win or draw another game or two next season and then we won’t need to count on any small clubs to do us a favor. COYG!

There’s Man City and then there’s PGMOL. Not a single controversy that cost them points but not just us also everyone else lost points from their ‘incompetence’.
And then to supervise our run-in they send Tierney for Man U and Oliver for Everton. Both of them ref’d Arsenal games 3 games prior to both fixtures. But they felt it fit to send these 2 seasoned vets who know how to manage a game without it looking bent.
Problem we won’t get any help here is because football is so tribalised. Ppl say we’re crybabies cos they don’t watch every single Arsenal game like some of us do. The bullying all season round is unreal.

Would like to say, the point about mc fans still having the memories of winning even if they are found guilty, mc stripped all the clubs who could have won a league, a cup, or not be relegated etc of lifetime memories...and that IMO is unforgivable. We all know they are guilty of some of these charges as UEFA found them guilty but we're unable to do anything due to time constraints.

I would argue that Lucas Torreira could get in this team if not the starting eleven. He was never really ousted from the squad for any footballing reasons, he just didn't really feel at home in England as it looked. And he just wanted to move to a different environment in the cultural sense more than in the sense of any footballing matters. And by the way Dani Ceballos is doing pretty decently at Real Madrid. But he really admitted that Spanish football suited him better than English.
We have to give City their props, Soph. They are by far the best football club ever FRAUDULENTLY assembled in the history of the sport.

115 charges does make a mockery of the EPL and validity of the competition.. guess Wrighty & Co are complimenting purely from a footballing perspective but it is short sighted, guess it’s never happened before in England for ppl to know how to fully react to it all!
Rival fans are pretty sad and pathetic .. if you enjoy football- how can you not appreciate a competitive title challenge.. to mock is pathetic.. I personally enjoyed the rivalry of Klopp’s Pool - envied their abilities despite our form at the time.

I think that what we missed this year is a break out performer. Last year I would say Martinelli. This year we can say Trossard, but he was already a good player at Brighton and we got lucky signing him considering there was some drama at Brighton and we got him on the cheap. Havertz did well once he got bedded in but with the price and wages cannot call him a player that over played and got us over the MC. Saka was great but in comparison to Phil Foden , as in importance to the team, Phil was incredible.
Trossard goals this season warrants an applause. Big goals too. Figuring out Havertz took a little too long. Deploying him in midfield after we figured out he was best in the 9 role the one mistake Arteta made this season. 🫡

As for the Arteta waiting waiting way to look to put Havertz back at #9 we did have a midfield answer to the partey problem who was playing at RB w😅hen he went down, Rice at the 6, And Trossard at the L8, Gabriel back as the CBs and White at RB. He fixed most of it by playing Gabriel again but he screwed himself with keeping Havertz at L8 where he was pretty poor. The question is what do we do with Havertz if we get a striker, He can't play Mid feild , this season proved that.
Stripping them of their titles punishes the players and fans. It is the owner and club that have to be punished. The fans will still suffer enough from their relegation. Leave the players with their medals and the fans with their memories.
No, the titles have to be erased and left blank as a warning to others in the future.

Each to there own but I felt it was a let down season my views will b different from the new generation but I was there watching Brian Talbot Raphael meade under don Howe and we would stand outside the marble halls and voice are disappointment nowadays it's clapping failure it doesn't sit right with me...👍

I’m 73 and now live in your ‘motherland’ west of Girne. I watched Arsenal in ‘58 just for the record. I thought Arsene should have gone 2-3 years earlier. I gave up listening to Unai as I couldn’t understand him - how the players did I’ll never know. Along came Mikel and from his first press conference he communicated, motivated and followed up with thorough results, not always shown on the field as he learnt the full job he’d taken. So, so impressed and I think he’ll be right alongside Pep ultimately. You just don’t realise how the competition has changed over the years - you don’t just waltz in and take titles, let alone Euro cups!
Firstly, we love it when older Arsenal fans share their views with us and listen to the show. You’ve seen it all. You’ve been there in historical good times and bad.
When you think about how irrelevant we were in competitiveness within the league, it’s undeniable how far we’ve come under Mikel Arteta. Sure he’s made mistakes but finishing only two points behind the so-called greatest team ever is no small achievement.
The process has led to progress and now it’s time for success. He will feel the pressure more next season.🫡
Kevie , big fella , all the love in the world from all us Aussie bastards 🙏🙏💖💖💖💖💖💖🥰🥰🥰🥰City , great side watching them . now regarding financials , money talks and bullshit walks , the pricks will be let off . the EPL is an unfair competition , the big clubs have miles more money coming in and can spend more than 60% of the other clubs . in Australia , in all our football codes we have strict salary caps where you can come near the bottom of the ladder and next season win the grand final aussie rules have a draft system , if you come last you get top pick . that`s why in Australia football codes are competitive . here is the salary caps for all football codes , football 2.6 million and are allowed a couple of marquis players on top , rugby union 5.5 million , rugby league 12.1 million , aussie rules 14.7 million . your hierarchy in the EPL are piss poor pricks . 18 years ago Melbourne Storm in rugby league got caught going over the salary cap . they lost 2 grand finals fined and as it came 4 games into the 2010 season they got those points deducted and played the rest of the season for 0 points . i`ll put the clip of the Melbourne Storm in case it gets deleted . no off season for me i have aussie rule . rugby union and rugby league to keep going till our season starts 💖💖💖💖🥰🥰🫡

Teams being religated because of points deductions has already happened. Reading got religated to League one because of points deductions.
As far as I'm concerned, the owners of City have acted with absolutely no honor from the day they bought the club and have done nothing but hinder the investigation. Owning an EPL club is a privilege, not a right .
They have shown they do not deserve that privilege and should be made to sell the club. If they refuse, then kick them out of English football. As for the punishment, All titles should be stripped and given to the clubs that actu5won them and the need to pay back all the money they stolen in the way of prize money and TV money that religated teams missed out on. As for City, they should be sent to the lowest league and have their spending capped to what that leagues previous champion's spent. If they break the rules, they should be suspended from all competitions immediately, and all the teams get to record a win in all the games against City that season.
This is the only way that we can ensure that this never happens again. the punishment has to make this type and scale of cheating unthinkable to any owner.
We now from the UEFA investigation that they were found guilty , Unfortunately, City were able to challenge the ruling in court as City is an EPL club, not a UEFA club. This time, that can not happen as they 6 an EPL club operating under FA regulations, so it is an internal dispute, and the courts have no say in the matter. The FA is Judge and Jury. To this day, UEFA still claims City was guilty. ONE has to wonder how much money changed hands when it went to court.
The image and integrity of English football has been destroyed and it will take ages to repair. If City get a slap on the wrist they will never be able to repair it.
Spurs are mugs because if they won that game they would have got champions league but instead they supported their team losing. Loser mentality, Ange surprised it’s that bad, he won’t stay too long.
