@Helen 22 yes indeed....Gone...but not forgotten👍👍...RIP the entire crew and cast of this wonderul and rare gem called 'Are You Being Served'
I’m so glad my wife’s brother & sister back in 1990...we had just gotten married and after our honeymoon we stopped by there to stay the night and they had no cable or nothing so they had it on PBS and this show was on and they were running episodes back to back and it didn’t take long to fall in love with it especially the two characters of Mr Humphries and Ms Slocumb....two great British comedy actors in England...(of course my opinion)
Many people's opinion and a fine opinion to have.
"He was a very big man"
Up top ya
😂 Damn RIP to this cast of characters
i maybe late chiming in but mrs slocumes hair is right back in style in 2019 !! the color!😊
I always loved her different wigs and their colours
At one point the colour changing got to much her hair started falling out its then she used wigs
yup had that colour last year..she was ahead of her time..
Don't you just!!!
Her hair color reminds me of Kelly Osbourne!😎
I have become a "Pandemic Fan" of this show!!! Regardless of my many comments, I love this show and I watch it on a regular basis. Since it's on You Tube, I can play back certain scenes. Kris, thanks sooooo much! The watchers may not express their appreciation directly, but I can assure you the favorable comments should be an indication of appreciation.

You should watch Last of the Summer Wine series as well. And Are you being served again which is called Grace and Favor in the UK.
Did you watch the movie from this series..
"Mr. Humphries?" Lucas. "Thank Heaven for that." LOL
I love that too!!!!
James F so funny
Stooges
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Peacock should be so lucky.
Dammit these were so much simpler times. It’s nice to escape to the old department store while the world explodes in 2022
Giving Mrs. Slocombe from Are You Being Served... AMAZING AND I LOVE IT.
It's incredible that no one who calls themselves her friends can't be bothered to offer her a place to sleep for one night, except Mr. Lucas. But when everyone's stranded, she's the one who takes them in.
That is the way it is more often than not in real life.
EXACTLY*😮😠😠😠😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬
And, BTW, Captain Peacock's "*Reason*": (IMHO*):was BOGUS 😠😡🤬
MY* Opinion, for what it's worth, is:
WHO would WANT HIM*, ANYWAY 😠😡🤬
..with HIS OL' ARROGANT*, SUPERCILIOUS*, KNOW-It-ALL*, "*(SIR*) David Niven* Wanna-be*" Self..:😠😡🤬
I guess, he, and that HATCHET -FACED Harridan, his Wife: were MADE, for each other 😠😡🤬
I love the apartment set. Mr Lucas walking around the side of the front wall was so clever!
Hey there! I came across your comment and I just had to reach out and say hi. Your perspective really caught my attention and I would love to get to know you better. Would you be interested in chatting sometime? Looking forward to hearing back from you! 😊
Why can’t we go back to the old days and times too much simpler and everyone new what they were doing back then I never forget these old show long live are you being served
One of the show's all-time best episodes imo.. superbly written and brilliantly acted. :)
A few times Mollie fluffed her lines although she had a lot of dialogue in this episode.
This episode is absolutley hilarous🤣🤣
I close my ears to suggestions in the washroom.
Love that part
But opens other orifices?
@@sandrajovic9304 Oh dear, I don't think you know this show too well then. This show was all about sexual innuendo and double entendre. That line was most certainly a reference to that.

@@marinazagrai1623 also teacher, just comment for yourself, not like Trump speaks and writes in the third-person!!
He was a very big man "on top yes" "it didnt look right down below" Oh i laughed my ass off at this part.
😆😆😆 Me too!
She said, " he didn't have a right lot down below."
After all these years this is the first time I have seen this episode!😂😂😂😂 such chemistry and the subtle innuendoes make this show a timeless classic that never grows old... Thank you for the Memories... ❤
Subtle? These were anything but subtle!
My nightly bedtime treat
Oh my God! Poor Mr. Humphries. How far was he prepared to go, I wonder.
@DARK APPERITION No but maybe because right now he would have eternal life with Christ Jesus if perhaps he would have also turned his life over to God and entered through the small gate and the narrow road which leads to Life_Where there are few who find it.
Because wide is the gate and Broad is the road which leads to destruction and many are on it. Bear in mind though that this is a parable in reference to "mr. Humphrie' s character on this show, even though it is the truth because Christ is the way the truth and the life. But because we really don't know who mr. Humphries from this show really was by just looking at those old episodes, then I am just using this as a cross reference.
Notwithstanding _Perhaps maybe in his real life mr. Humphries was a born again Christian and is Now in his Soul Essence in Heavenly Bliss in Paradise awaiting the Day of the Resurrection of his body buried on Earth.🌿📖🕊🕇🌿
@@robertnovoa341 no one asked for a homophobic lecture about the Bible.
Loved how Mrs Slocombe locked the front door at bedtime!
The green couch Humphries is sitting on is beautiful.
Agree
If she's gonna try something with Mr. Humphries she's barking up the wrong tree. Lol!
Joshua Hull This episode always been me the most uncomfortable.
LOL. Why? It's one of the best ones ever. It's so funny! One of my favourite. @@Sunset553
Merrida100 It’s funny, but at the risk of over analyzing it, I enjoy when Mrs Slocumbe is puttering around, calmly setting up her space. If it continued on with tea, I’d be happy.
I know they have to keep up the humor but I’m uncomfortable when she’s trying to get Mr Humphries into her bed. She reminds me of someone I knew when I was a child. Then they use that joke, my least favorite part, all the way to the end.
@@Sunset553 I totally understand. Despite the comedy of the whole thing, I felt uncomfortable for Mr. Humphries too.
He seemed a bit willing at the very beginning but that quickly changed when everyone started showing up... hilarious!!
This is one of my favorite episodes. My mom's as well.
I love this show and the crew, sadly they have all passed away, but I'm glad that I can still watch this on youtube, thank you so much for uploading.
I liked Mr. Grainger better than Mr. Goldberg !
