+holy yay Sugar and tea is not what doctors will advise you. Drinking enough water is important to prevent dehydration. And if you do not have chronic diarrhea you might be advised to take oral rehydration solution. You can buy these yourself or make them if you can not buy them. They contain sugar, salt and water.
