- Chris Wee is a name familiar to the automotive fraternity in Malaysia. Having dabbled in the automotive industry for more than 30 years now, he is a guru amongst motoring journalists. A very fast driver who chose to cruise along slowly, he now enjoys finding, restoring, and driving modern classics with a slew of cars from Alfa Romeo's, Mercedes Benzs, Toyotas, BMWs, Fiat's, you name it - oh and of course Volvos - he loves all of them and takes care of them extremely well.

Enjoying your content here in England. That's a very cool car.......you can't beat a wagon, especially a Volvo wagon! Our family car is a 2013 V60 wagon. More of a large hatchback than a proper wagon, but it suits our needs. I like Volvo's approach, they've always been about comfort and practicality, rather than being a sporting drive. Considering the amount of traffic and our poorly maintained roads here in England, it's the perfect choice for a daily driver :)
Thank you for sharing! Great series! My old man used to own the sedan version 240GL in 1983. It’s a tank man. She had an accident with a bike when my dad was doing a right turn into a lane. The bike from opposite directions came and crashed into the rear door, the pillow fell sideways and the driver flew over the car after hitting the door. Luckily both did not suffered serious injuries. The rear side door only had a dent, we found out later there’s a huge steel bar inside the door, in fact , it’s on every door. Had it been a Japanese car, the bike might have crushed the rear seats where my grandmother was sitting.
My uncle was a 240 and later a 740 owner. Back in the 90s he would pump the accelerator for about 5 seconds in neutral just to hear the engine roar (you can really hear them coming when under acceleration), then joke "Ah, there goes 30 or 40 cents of petrol".

For me.. all the aurizn team was a reason of where i am now.. because you guys have influenced me and makes me own what car i want till now.. since 2020 till now i’ve own 3 cars just by inspiration that u guys gave me.. my first car was proton wira aeroback SE and now running with 4g93 engine.. 2nd car was proton preve as i love the handling of the car not the engine😂 but I’m glad so far the car still running smoothly with no major problems occurred.. 3rd car was the most special one and one of my list which is suzuki swift sport zc31s.. and next planning maybe go for any conti/jdm coupe sport car..
The thing about the 850s dash that he touched on is so true. I mean my 850 has been abandoned for 7 years in the Dalmatian sun. And its a bit cracked at the base of the dash where it meets the windshiels but its barelly attached to the car itself, i mesn it still looks good and doenst really rattle but it does move a lot when you really push if, its not solid. Im looking into buying a 940 now and its interior is super solid, no rattles, no movements no nothing. But still the 850 dash is pretty good, looks good and feels allright and it still works after 28 years. 15 years of abuse and 7 years of abandonment with the previous owner

Fully agreed..Viking tyres are good..I used it on my Toyota Rush..very quiet & comfortable ride 👍🏼👍🏼

I am a Volvo Station Wagen owner since the 1980s. My first was a Volvo 245 6 Cylinder Diesel with Overdrive.
Till this moment I still own & drive Volvos, the past almost 50 years.
My present Baby is the 940 Wagen Turbo. In Top Condition except for a new paint. Which is not easy to find a sincere Painter these days in Malaysia 😢😢😢

@bobby, @chris, hi guys, I was wondering if you could offer some advice. I have a 2021 Volvo S60. I find the ride to be a little stiff. I’m due for a tire change, therefore am wondering if there is a softer tire i could use that would make the ride a little more comfortable? Thank you
