How to turn studying into a video game
    1) get clear about everything you have to study ><
( Don't let the uncertainty consume you . Know your enemy first )
    2) smaller tasks with rewards : )
( After knowing your enemy aka course that you got to study it must seem like ' omg this is so big !" But but but break down your big enemy into smaller pieces and Destroy it day by day, little by little)
    3 ) Teammates !!!
( Ofc it'll be more fun to defeat your enemy with people who also want to defeat the same enemy . So get yourself some study buddies )

Here's another one: Do things you enjoy while studying, like listening to music, having snacks, or putting something on in the background, and do this consistently. It should be something that doesn't distract you from the work but is enjoyable.
This strategy builds a positive association with work and makes you more willing to do the work because you know (whether consciously or subconsciously,) that you always have a good time when studying.

One tip I like to give as well, do NOT study in the place where you usually game. Our mind connects places with tasks such as bed = sleeping and that's why when someone uses their phone often in their bed they have higher chances of being insomniacs, because their brain sees bed = phone = awake. So if you often entertain yourself at your desk, go to another on and study there because desk #1 = entertainment.

I’m studying to become a chemistry and biology teacher and I’m struggling a lot with procrastination. Teachers are humans too. Dont judge! Sometimes I help freshmen inside the labs and noticed they are struggling too. The best advice I gave all of them so far is to map their life like a skill tree. Not just the subjects they are learning right now. Biology and Chemistry is a lot. There are majors which are just focusing on one tiny area of it! Comparing those Allrounders in my lab with one-track specialists will make your brain think you are worthless cause you know nothing at all, but in fact you know more but not as detailed. Just make sure you know what you achieved by looking at the skills you earned along the way makes you more motivated to achieve more abstract goals.

    1. Do weekly tests of what you've learned throughout the week to make sure you're progressing
    2. Everything is easier to do when there little risk involved. So instead of focusing only on your biggest goals, divide them into smaller ones.
Not only to track your progress more efficiently, but also the reduce the risk involved with what you're working on
    3. Get feedbacks from experienced people
    4. Find a way to exploit FOMO, which is our sense of urgency, with a timer for example or some deadline you must not go over. Everyone is more productive on urgency
    5. Work with a group of people simmilar to you

This video explores the idea of combining the fun aspects of video games with study routines to improve motivation and learning.
The video presents three key concepts from video games that make them engaging and demonstrates how to apply these as "power-ups" to enhance studying:
    1. Well-defined storyline and clear objectives: Video games provide clear goals and progress indicators, unlike traditional studying.
To address this, create opportunities to track your progress, such as implementing self-assessments, practice tests, or mind maps to identify learning gaps.
    2. Low risk, high reward: Video games allow players to experiment without severe consequences, which encourages creativity and persistence.
Break down high-risk goals into smaller, low-risk objectives and focus on learning from mistakes. This approach makes studying more manageable and enjoyable.
    3. FOMO (Fear of Missing Out): Video games use FOMO to encourage consistent engagement.
Leverage healthy FOMO by creating social accountability through study groups, which fosters a sense of community and competition.
Additionally, implement personal reward systems for achieving study milestones.
By applying these power-ups to your study routine, you can improve motivation, foster a sense of purpose and direction, and ultimately achieve a greater sense of accomplishment in your academic endeavors.
