Hi Desy! I got day pack 2 before, and never really used it because it didn't fit much... I'm considering pro pack 20l, but I'm a bit paranoid because the dimensions are really similar between these two bags, but the capacity is somehow 1.5x larger for pro pack 20l compared to day pack 2. Would you say pro pack 20l fits way more than day pack 2 does?
Yes the 20L does fit more! The Day Pack 3 is tapered off so you lose space near the top
Biggest change is the side handle, day pack 2 doesn’t have one

They also removed the mesh pocket in the front compartment which is a bummer, that's a good spot for a wallet!

Honestly it feels like a downgrade to me. They removed the D-ring, removed the front compartment mesh pocket, less volume now 😮. Only upgrade is the side handle and added a sleeve to the front compartment
In my personal opinion the 2 was better in almost every way except not having a side handle and those fancy buckles
