In this video, I’ll show you a brand new way to hold your ink pads when applying ink to your stamps! I always seem to drop my ink pads and it gets frustrating when it happens.
This tool has become a staple in my craft room. It has changed the way I ink my stamps. It’s comfortable and easy. Anyone can make their own version, too!

You can put up a magnetic strip on a shelf and store your inkpads with the magnets. Dual purpose. I love this tip.

I’ve used Velcro for 30+ yrs. I put the hook part on a wooden stamp handle. (Like Tim Holtz ink blending holder that holds the felt.) And then I put the fuzzy part on my ink pads.

I used to have small wooden blocks on my ink pads for the same purpose, years ago. It really does help.

I used velco instead of magnetic tape. Then I used my Ranger blending tool handle. Works!!!

My hands are severely disfigured from RA. I struggle to get hold of the ink pad and inevitably my malaligned fingers or knuckles end up covered in ink...this will help tremendously! Thankyou soo much! Btw...new subbie from Melb Aust....good luck with your channel ! xx

Kathya I have been using a similar set up myself for the last few years I can only use my right hand so get in quite a mess I have been using a magnetic phone mount and put the metal discs on all my ink pads I also have magnetic mat and they hold things while gluing

I too have hand issues. This is a great idea. Can you tell us how strong is the magnetic hold is? Is it difficult to remove the hook from the pad?
Hi Alice! The magnet on the silver “hook” is extremely strong-just like the ones we use to hold papers in our stamping platforms. The magnet tape is not strong at all, so it’s just enough to get a solid grip on the ink pad but not hard at all to remove it. If you watch the very last 20 seconds, I demonstrate how you can remove it by sliding it off the magnet tape-super simple. I hope this helps! ♥️

How would this work for the flipped lid pads like stamp in up?
Good question. I don’t have any of those ink pads anymore except one or two and switched to CP inks. I suppose you could try it! ☺️
