D. Rose is a more graceful and beautiful athleticism. Westbrook is more power, force. They're both two different forms of athleticism, but I think Westbrook is more athletic. My favorite two point guards ever. Nice vid tho! I got a Westbrook vid myself
Westbrook's ability to finish at the basket was unmatched. 1 v 1 there were not a lot of guys who could defend him. His ability to split the defense was great too. If only he had developed a consistent jumper and decent 3pt shot he'd be pretty much unguardable. And can we appreciate this guys durability? Still at his age he's going strong
They both are great in their primes d Rose has like control on his athleticism but Russell Westbrook is more athletic and it’s just crazy to see my fav point guards of all time
@@resinarechim5668 look at 2:46 my guy Russ is ducking the rim. So head at the rim at 6’3 means it requires a 45 inch vertical. Since his head isn’t fully at the rim, taking off four inches would leave him with about 41. And this is in game too, so it wouldn’t be his maximum vertical.
Drose more athletic tbh but Westbrook is more explosive because he likes to lift off both legs and slam it in but Drose is more smooth off his one leg so he generate more speed going into the dunk
This video is dope but only shows one aspect of athleticism. If the question was who was a better in game dunker than it would be Westbrook but athleticism is Rose . Rose speed, agility ( could contort his body all types of ways. Westbrook was more stiff), strength ( I guarantee Rose had more And -1 finishes). Now Westbrook got stronger over his career but if we compare MVP rose to Westbrook around the same time it’s not close. I think we also give Westbrook extra credit for the intensity of his dunks. Westbrook wins endurance. Westbrook also gets the nod for explosiveness . While Rose was a Rocket from end to end. Westbrook was a rocket from floor to rim .
Easily Russell Westbrook, Kobe Even Said That Russ Is The Most Athletic Player He's Ever Played Against.
Derrick Rose is more Athletic in terms of speed ,quickness and vertical but Russ is stronger more durable and explosive

You nailed it. Couldn't of said it better.
the way rose moves his arms after dunking makes them so much more cool imo
D Rose got the best bounce. But russ is purely more athletic
Russ does r u crazy
@@imhimdk1785 russ has explosiveness and d Rose has bounce ight chill
Quickness, Speed, Agility : Rose
Power , Strength , Endurance : Westbrook
I’m a bigger rose fan but Jesus Christ this vid says Westbrook by far and it’s not close, we’ve been watching the same Rose dunks for 9 years

Russel Westbrook for sure 😂😂all day

Athletic? Westbrook out of all players of all time. The man never gets tired
Only on defense.
Drose had a 40 inch vertical. While westbrook had a 39 inch vertical.
I I think Drose is a cool 41 and Russ in his bald head days could be maybe even higher.
@@spproductionsnba nah mahn these are straight facts these are their verticals in their prime. Its on google mahn u can search it yourself .

@@spproductionsnba rose did the same wen he dunked on dragic.
@@resinarechim5668 then they’re both comfortably over 40

Honestly drose is faster and has the higher vert but Russ is just a more physical player
1 Hand, 2 hand

Crazy how both of them tear there acl an only one came back better .
Cuz one relied on there atlectism and one didnt and kept improving in other facets of there game
@@imhimdk1785 yea but Russ using his athleticism more and coming back better shows he was more athletic especially because he continued using it
@@temp2k773 true
@Westside Chicago good point but russes body can actually handle it because Russ was injured on purpose unlike rose
Lmao Westbrook got more athletic after his injury he smacked his head on the backboard post meniscus tear.
Rose was consistent Westbrook wasn’t
Bare in mind Drose is 6'1 and Westbrook is actually 6'5
You crazy as fuck giving them 4 inches apart 😂 bro they both listed at 6’3 , you can even see it when they stand next to each other
No cap Russ is damn near 6’5 now
They both 6'3 200
tbh when I think of athletic I think of westbrook not rose
