It should be noted that mechanical pressure switches P170 and P70 models should not be used for R-410a service as the system pressure is too high to function correctly or accurately over time with these controls. I have seen in many cases where technicians have attempted to use these switches only to have me come back after a short time and have to replace them with something more suited for the system pressure. Also, Johnson...I LOVE your system 450 design and have found it useful for systems with semi hermetic compressors using three pressure traducers (low, high, and oil) but using this design you are always forced to use 3 output switches and then wire them together in series and then use 2+ external timers for the bypasses and anti cycle. Would it be possible for you to create a new control designed specifically for this purpose using 1 output contact (perhaps 2 for Fan Cycle) and then have it so you can run threw and set your low, high, oil, fan cycle, etc and the differtials, oil bypass timer, low pressure bypass timer, and anti cycle timer. Doing so would be a....no brainer and a great seller!
I live in Michigan and I had to put a Johnson control p70AA-118c to the A/C and weather here is below the 40's what's a good pressure for that type of temperature and it's a 5 ton Goodman if anybody can help I would gladly appreciate it.
