93 E34 Will crank no start

- The previous owner attempted to fix the car when he said the car was working great until it started getting lazy, and it didnt start no more, he believed it was the starter, but when he tried to replace it he gave up and gave me the car. Theres alot of hoses that dont seem to be in the right place, but i dont know where it goes. So can anyone help me out with a diagram or some advice? Thanks!
Jump your fuel relay with a wire pin 87 n pin 30 to see if you getting any fuel or not could be bad fuel pump or relay
By what I heard that engine is knocking hard !
Hey Tim, the Supernormal here!, I know that you do need to plug a hose to that spot u we're pointing at, to a spot simalr to that one but at the front of the engine,
wich one. I've got the same problem
Try to test and change the crankshaft position sensor.
crankshaft sensor is were because I have the same problem
Am also searching for the cps
UPDATE:
The car actually does start and idles fine, but, the alternator literally smoked out. When i connect the battery, the bid red cable that connects to the alternator gets really hot, and smoke comes out of it. (When i connect the negative terminal on the battery, a bigger spark than normal happens) so will update you guys with it

Hey john, ive learned alot in the automotive world since i just watch this video and laugh at myself. The crank sensor was unplugged and also the starter solenoid was hooked up backwards
T-Spec Garage so the car would fire up even with the crank sensor unplugged? ( starter fluid)
