I met Jamie back in Kansas City, Missouri. We heard this song live, it was the first song she performed. Her guitarist is phenomenal, he puts on a show! Which we also met and shared a few words with. This band, this gal, WORKS HARD, and you can clearly hear that. Jamie is a natural born performer. Jamie brings an amazing vibe to the room, the power in her voice!!! I'll never forget Jamie, and I was so honored, excited when I shook her hand! Jamie also connects and takes the time with her fans, I had never heard of Jamie Wyatt until that evening, and I can honestly say I'm so happy I do now. I've listened to ALL her songs since, my favorite is "Neon Cross" it fits too perfectly, it was also my favorite song she played the night of the KC concert, this band also threw in a ROCKIN' cover of a Led Zeppelin song. I've been a Zep fan my ENTIRE life so that made me enjoy this show even more! Jamie we enjoyed your show here in Kansas City Missouri! We hope you come back! Kodi Felecia from KCHI Radio-saying good luck to you fellow performer!
Was hoping to see them in Toronto but show was canceled last minute
Love Jaime - great artist -
Awesome Jamie love the song!
Damn! awesome tune Jaime Wyatt on Colbert hell yeah!!
I like it. It’s nice to hear some straight up rock n roll with good musicians. Also, that’s a nice Tele.
This isn’t rock n roll, it’s call radio rock, or cock rock 😂
Jaime rocks. she's a true outlaw. This album has a big Motown feel with some old school country feel. Her first two albums were true country. Not radio bubblegum bullshit.
enough dirt on that guitar neck to build a sand castle
wow! That's a great singer wit ha great band behind her! That Bass player is the next John Entwistle
Bravo Jaime!!!!
CCR's Fortunate Son, but with different lyrics
"There are only a few notes. Just variations on a theme."- John Lennon
I heard it too (that’s why I’m here) lol.
Also, for some reason it reminded me of ‘I Never Asked to Be Your Mountain’ by Tim Buckley
Yeah rip-off
The guitar is playing fortunate son and her melody is sympathy for the devil - stones. It's even the same vocal style
That right. @@rfelton77
Omg … her voice❤ so powerful and smooth! but as of late the world doesnt feel like that does it😢
Jaime Wyatt is Queen!!!!
and queer too as I learn but don’t take that as a woke comment or something . Power to her that she admit this publicly on interviews . ✌️
@@spiroskaravalakis9358 check out all 3 albums.
It Ain't Me. Different lyrics
Oh, well, someone else said "Fortunate Son," Yet another person said "I Got the Music in Me." You all need to make up your goddamn minds. 👀
John Fogherty' Fortunate Son reworked.
Jaime's band is awesome!! (Also, the drummer is hawt.) ;-P
❤
Indeed it is.
Sounds like Kiki Dee's, "I got the music in me."
It's kinda good!
Omg … her voice so powerful and smooth! but as of late the world doesnt feel like that does it
Bit of a Stones vibe, love it. Great to hear a real voice and not that whisper singing.
We need more rock songs with pro-environment lyrics. It shows caring about climate change isn't dreary. It rocks!
I was not expecting that viice to come from her.
Great technique making guitar face.
When I made up with seby by that bonfire
Hope 4 vs. Hope less
Towards the end, I was thinking she was being too repetitious, thinking what Robert Plant would do, considering the band was wailing away.
Nothing is more repetitive that Kiss-Rock n Roll all Night
@@rfelton77 I know what you're saying about Kiss. How's this? if you listen to Rod Stewart, Every Picture Tells a Story, you'll hear how Kiss went through those songs and did their own versions. No.. no.. Beth...
Robert Plant would be going "baby, baby, baby" and moaning a bunch. That's kind of a low bar. But I think it's an accomplishment for Jaime to be bringing out these comparisons with the legends.
@@cmkrcs1 I'm not criticizing the band, just the one section of the ending. I agree about Plant setting a low bar, thinking the "ooos" and "ahhhs" of r'n'b are far better, mostly harmonies, how I sing. As a rough hard rock band I suggested Plant as an evolution of her vocals and the song, for sure wanting to update what he did.
Who is she??! Never heard of the music or her??
Now you have
Jaime and her band kick ass. She's got 3 albums and been on several compilation albums and soundtracks. She's a hard worker and super friendly.
Awesomeness. Listen to Neon Cross. Absolutely badass.
@@cameronweeks9313 Felony Blues is equally great
She got some Alanis esque intonisation. Liking this .
