Sounds better than some of the music being put out today. Should give the MRI Machine a record contract.
I’m currently trying to going to sleep to this so I don’t spass out tmr and these comments give me faith lmfao, oh and it’s my second time going I couldn’t the first time 😂😂😂 wish me luck
The best sleep and most relaxing time I've ever known has been while having an M.R.I
agreed
Same. I just feel super safe
Very much same. Actually lying in the comfort of my home right now and hearing these for a good time.
nah, when I had contrast agent needle sticking inside on my arm I got a bit of shocked by the magnet electricity like those 1 dollar lighter starter level of electric shock... I think CT scan was more comfortable haha
Yup, had one yesterday and was the most relaxed I've been in years. Maybe I need to buy myself a sleep tube for home and pipe this video in through headphones, haha.
I don't know why, but a 1 hour mri scan is one of the most relaxing experiences I ever had.
I was in 3 days ago for a c-spine scan with a level 9 pain laying down on my back. NOT RELAXING!!!
I could not get past 5 min. Went again today maxxed out on Ibu & tylenol, and a xanax and barely got through.
I do like the sounds as I'm into techno music
Ye it can get relaxing until u touch the edges on accident 😂😂
@@heidel420 I don't think it was the MRI that was the problem there... I used to run 90min MRI protocols, even some of the anxiety patients were sleeping at the end (no medication involved)
my favorite music genre is industrial. i ADORED my mri yesterday!!!
I love the MRI sounds. It's all about measured breathing and then relaxing to the 'music'. Takes me back to the electronic music of the 80s. I've also fallen asleep a few times 😅
Type shit
Expand on that
@@mumtaza4770 i went into an mri yesterday and the repetitive banging and beeping noises lowkey reminded me of skinny puppy
Had a ~20 minute (?) spine and torso done. Honestly very relaxing for electronic music fans.
Nice BPM beatmatching session while my tattoos were warm and toasty. Would recommend. 😊
Some pretty intense Psytrance
top 5 best asmr for sleep:
The sounds are part of the mechanical parts of acquiring the MRI image. A lot of patients fall asleep after hearing it for a while and I have as well. It helps to get used to the sound. Glad you offer that.😊
I felt like I was at an EDM concert when I had my MRI. I actually kind of enjoyed it. Lol
Cant wait for their single to release on spotify 🔥
And I felt I was at a Merzbow show 😅 just had an MRI y’day! It was a cool GE Sigma Creator 1.5T
Great collection! Our band, THE DEAD BEATS, uses it in place of a bass player. We just add the chords, melody and lyrics on top of it. This'll give us at least 50 more head-bangers.
😂
I just close my eyes and listen to the music kindly provided by the machine.
Feels like you're at a Psytrance show. I love that feeling 😁
I find it really relaxing and the rhythms of the the scanner make me really sleepy! I go into some sort of meditative state lying there.
When I have one I'm trying not to fall asleep just in case I move
Everytime I get one I fall asleep! For some reason I find it relaxing!
Only have had one MRI but it was absolutely the most relaxing experience I have ever had…dream of the day I can have another!
my tips- extra padding around my ears and arms , ear plugs and head phones, and HEATED BLANKETS :) just think the scanner is a concert show. sometimes it will vibrate the bed sometimes it will be more noticeable than other sequences. I have had 10 MRI scans in my life. My 11th will be in may~
That’s great advice! It’s like your own concert but better because I have a heated blanket :)
There is so much content here that could be used in video games. A lot of these sounds are awesome!
I just completed 4 scans with and without contrast. Here's what helped me: 1) Pray: start as soon as you schedule it and surrender your anxiety to God and you'll never be alone or afraid 2) Practice: First I played the above video in the backgound while doing chores. A few days later, I laid under my sofa bed/bedroom bed - at first with just my legs under, then next day a little further, etc. until my head was all the way under (while playing the MRI sounds near my head, loudly). 3) Mimick the conditions of the MRI when practicing (one element at a time) - add headphones or earplugs, add pillow under your knees, add thin pillow under your head, add pillows tightly on both sides of your head (for brain MRI), add thin pad to lie on, add light blanket, add ball in your hand (to mimick panic button), etc. 4) blow your nose completely dry before going in to avoid post-nasal drip 5) when in the locker room getting dressed for the MRI, tense all you muscles as tightly as you can, hold, release - it kind of exhausts your body into relaxing, then stretch all you muscles 6) breathe through your mouth to kind of dry out your oral cavity - you'll be less likey to have to swallow saliva and thus less likely to create movement artifact/blurry image - try practicing without swallowing during the loud noise sections of the scan 7) keep your eyes closed 8) find the most comfortable position allowed and time how long you can stay still without moving a muscle 9) research how long your scan will take & try to work up practicing for that long - chances are once you learn to relax in these conditions and get over that "hump", you won't need to practice the full time These are practical suggestions that I hope will help. The scan was more pleasant than the practice, so be not afraid. Peace!
Amen!
🙏🏻
You wrote a hole movie 😂
I have done the MRI and I think it is a thrill and love the noise of it especially the chirping.
This is my tip to how to get through MRI scans if you are anxious about the loud noises. Think of the sounds as music. For instance, the coldhead sound is in 2/4 time. To those of you who are wondering, yes I am insane. Lol
Its just a new experimental harsh noise track
@@Punkini lol
I’ve paused on my mri three times because I’m scared of the noise! I’ve never had a mri done 😢
@@no1zzle3 awww! I really thought that I would have trouble because I am afraid of certain loud noises. Turns out, I am really addicted to them and low key, I really want another one just because I like it so much!
@@WantedCornet290 4th time is a charm! Finally got it done lol 🙌🏼
You would think that after 40 years, MRIs would not still sound this horrible.
I definitely agree. There are some "silent" MRI's but image quality is not suitable for most imaging needs.
For me it's the banging noises give me anexity
Horrible? Best sounds ever, love to try to hear different modulations or very slight changes...lovely magnetostriction wobbling those coils.
@@ieronimo18 no thanks, I would stay with "kraftwerk" MRI sounds
This machine is making a high resolution image of the interior of the human body without cutting the patient open, touching the patient or even emitting any harmful radiation…and you complain about the noise??!! 😂
The trick I use is to fall asleep! the cold room and noises actually soothe me into a deep sleep, I normally warn the techs that I am likely to zonk out. Yet at home, someone slides the bathroom door and it wakes me up lol.
That FLAIR sound scared the shit out of me when I was a kid having a brain imaging😂
MRIs are soo relaxing to me. Idk, I liked the closed in feeling and the noises. I quickky fell asleep lol
These scanners sounds are really awesome. :-) Could you do one video of each one of them individually? :-) If not… That’s OK. :-) I’m just really fascinated with all the sounds and… I want to hear all them over and over and over again. :-)
I slept during my mri :)
I don’t mind the MRIs. I just relax. When they don’t do the head, they give me earbuds and let me listen to Electronic Dance Music. I just had just a head CT or MRI and I kept my eyes open while just my head was in the tunnel. The light effects were so trippys and cool. I swear it was an MRI and not a CT, but I become very confused after a major tonic/clonic seizure. They could have told me I was going to Disneyland on LSD.
I just want to say thanks so much for posting this. This settles the chaos in my mind and helps me think straight.
Me too!
Yup. Listening to this is the only time I have a quiet mind 😊
Me. Too!
By the time the doctor is finished with my scans the sounds usually put me in rem sleep
I’m use this to sleep and study for my AART
I had scan on my brain and spine the other day, lasted an hour. But I swear I feel asleep. Was so relaxing
This is the best ASMR in the world
I get warm easily so I like being surrounded near absolute zero refrigerant to cool me off! So no blanket for me. No headphones either. The MRI is relaxing enough.
Hearing loss would like to speak with you
@@jambothejoyful2966 I do use ear plugs. Just not ones with music..
I find it relaxing. I visualize a blue sky with clouds
thank you . this is a very valuable source for those of us, who are anxious about MRI. Its huge help in letting me prepare for my upcoming MRI scan. thank you and please keep this source online forever!.
I had an MRI today, and saw several bright flashes. Thought someone was taking photos outside or something, but apparently it happens sometimes. I quite like the rhythms the machine makes. Get a lil boogie on in my head….
Very relaxing, thank you!
There’s a scanner on this video that sounds like it is going crazy. :-) I love it. :-) But… The first time I heard it… It scared the heck out of me. :-)
One of the worst experiences of my life, being shoved into one of these. With a migraine, no less. Never will do it again!
I don't like them at all to much it makes me anshus
my head was in a stabalizer that had like a knot in it, but i didnt want to stop the mri because i didnt want to start it again so i just layed there for an hour with tears falling silently down my cheeks
My thoughts were," is this what it is like to be in a Jeffery's tube. So cool 😎
Just want I wanted, 8 hours of MRI, at least I won't be in one for 8 hours. 😂
Looks cool though with the compilation.
Nice Sounds, thanks for sharing. 👍
Amazing 👍🏻
Had an MRI today. I wish I'd thought to take an audio recorder in with me!
Some of the sounds were rough and nasty, but there were a few that I really liked.
They wouldn't have allowed you to take it in anyway, it's a health risk due to the powerful magnets.
Real rough noise album shit
Thank you
I fell asleep during my MRI brain scan. Great nap.
Tank you so beatifyl mri
3:20:11 best coldhead noise there is!
i sleep to this i wake up seizing ty
MRI is the closest I would get to attend an EDM concert in real life
I’ve had several and I just pretend it’s really strange music! 😂 At one point there’s a tapping noise, like a conductor on a podium.
hI there love the videos! I'm just wondering do you work MRI Scanners as well? this is Fasanating!
Had my first MRI back in June. I was bouncing between two jobs all day. Plus, had a huge argument with admin at one job, sent out a powerful email and was awaiting response. Then I go into my MRI, where I was made comfy by staff in this machine-nestled into the position with pillows and a light blanket. Plus earplugs!! They stuck me in and the wacky noises distracted me from my angry thoughts about work. Plus something about the machine tickled my brain/nervous system!!!! And it was just…forced peace for an hourrrrr. Had a 2nd MRI last week and it was as pleasant as I was excited for lol. It was at 7:30am so I skipped my stimulant meds and took a nap in there. Soooo bummed when they pulled me out 45 min later. They say ADHDers find the distracting noises pleasant for the chaotic brain. And depressed people are positively triggered by the waves used to pull imaging.
My favourite is 3:44 and 5:28. Very chill somehow
Nice mix bro !
It’s experimental sure but this guy is going places! Very good foundations
i play this video to help me sleep
My new white noise for sleeping
Are the MRI sequences vary from MRI scanners/brands (and the name of sequences as well)?
these sounds are amusing to listen to but quite frankly, there is no way i can sleep while listening to that.
I try to take a nap when I’m inside the MRI but I’m rarely successful. From what I see, some people like to use these sounds as sort of a white noise to help them fall asleep. I didn’t know the effect these video would have but I’m always happy to provide anything that helps
@@MRIPETCTSupportEngineer I love your video and I'm becoming addicted to these sounds. They go wonderfully with a freshly brewed cup of pour over coffee. 🙂
@@MRIPETCTSupportEngineer тяжело переношу громкие звуки, как себе помочь?
lets pretend we are playing space invaders while an mri scan but you get long blasts that it gets distorted into one long noise
Add a bunch of reverb and tape delay, and you get a Hainbach track.
I have severe claustrophobia, on my second go around listening. It's helping quite a bit for upcoming head MRI
Suppose there was no helium in the device the mri would overheat because once in the klinikum dessau 2013 the case was apparently in the device what was stewed through
I always just spend the time praying and talking to God while I'm in there and it's over before I know it
Everyone complaining about the sound... Resonance makes noise. it's in the definition js
What are the sounds we hear from 00:32 - > 1:00
Sounds smt like a conductor or a relay during a calibration prosigure...
You’re right. That’s the sounds of the relays that control the gradient coil. The sounds in that timeframe is the auto pre scan sequence. This is a tuning sequence that is performed before every scan series to provide R1/R2, Transmit gain coefficient, and center frequency values.
This shit is fire 🔥
I don't mind the MRI sounds at all. I had more of an issue with the lights... because my migraines are light-sensitive. When the lights weren't going, it was nice being in a cool dark room with my head all comfy.
13:11 I have a question why mri sound have like tick-tack or ticktick something like hit something (I’m korean so my english skill is not good sorry😢)
Oh. :-) It also happens at about six hours into the video. :-)
I also wonder although open MRI scanners affect Image quality from being super low in strength, is there a huge sound difference? what do open scanners sound like ? :)
There is definitely a noticeable sound difference. The RF amplifier for open speed (.35T-.7T) is a 2-5 kilowatt amplifier. As you go up in magnet strength, the MRI requires significantly more power to create higher definition images. 1.5T magnets typically use a 20 kw RF amp and 3T MRIs use a 35kw RF amp. Other than the amount of power, the open speed scan sequence sounds relatively the same though. Magnet strength does play a big role in image clarity, generally the higher strength the magnet the clearer the images are but there is definitely a point of diminishing return. .7T - 1.5T MRI can generally diagnose 98% of conditions. I hope this helps :)
@@MRIPETCTSupportEngineer Would be cool to see a vid of open mri sounds is possible?, i know likely impossible but even cooler to hear a 7T sure that thing is beyond rock concert or jet engine loud!.
Up here in Canada open MRI scanners are super super rare, all of them are closed/wide bore ones.
I looked this up so I could sleep!!
To bad it had commercials!!!!! 🤯🤬🤯🤬🤯🤬🤯🤬
Tell me why I started to dance at 13:25
Low Dose Diazepam worked for My friend.
I’ve had weird daydreams when I had mine
I found these sounds to become a bit comical after awhile, something like a video war game gone berserk. And strangely enough, they become eventually relaxing. On replaying these in this CZcams video I had the same experience of relaxation after five or ten minutes. Strange to say, they seem to grow on you. Yikes!
Sounds like early Cabaret Voltaire music
I had one 7 weeks ago. Half hour scan, 11 minutes in I had a dreadful rushing and spinning sensation in my head, I had to stop it and although I was wearing ear protectors I experienced loud noises in my ears. I have had ringing in my ears since. I wish I never had it done..
do you have a non general electric mri
Remember people if you’re getting your lower half done you do not have to put your head inside the circular part. They won’t tell you this, but you have to ask them if you can switch direction that you’re laying in. Why they have to make it so freaking absolutely claustrophobic if you’re not getting anything done to your upper extremities.
My mri every 6 months scratches that itch in my brain
2:52:44 activates my right part for some reason
Huge stress for me. While I was inside, I thought about how many parts of this machine could break down and hurt me
"Inside an MRI machine, there is nothing moving. The sounds are generated by radio frequencies that are used to create the images. It is one of the safest machines, certainly safer than a CT scan."
Absolutely fascinating how during MRI I always fall asleep hearing these noises. I'm not saying I wasn't scared - yes I was, but still it somehow it manage to calm me down. I suffer debilitating panic attacks. I never fall asleep in random places, forget about falling asleep when something stressful is happening - yet I still fall asleep during MRI?
Its too loud to even close my eyes! When they first put me in I cried non stop for 10 minutes and then calmed down a little. I didn't think the noises would be so loud. Everytime I tried to close my eyes, they would automatically open due to how loud it was!
You just don't understand the beauty of this beautiful art :(
It sounds like a bird 🐦 btw I never had an MRI done. I’m a bit claustrophobic tho.. I don’t know if I could go in the tube.. 😬😬
great video! is there a timestamp of the video?
I will get one up asap. I thought I still had this video under private 🤔 so it wasn’t ready for release yet. Thank you so much for the reminder
If you like this music you should check the flashcore genre
La máquina es hermosa eso si parece un lavarropas
Can somebody explain me why these sounds needs to be ? I need to do this every year :-(
There was an interesting combination that I heard when I was inside the machine and I'm not being able to find it. It's the same tone (like 5:19:20 or 7:26:30, I guess) and it goes 8 times kinda fast, then a small pause and then it goes 7 times (another small pause ... loop it). In musical notation it would be like: 8 16th notes + 8th rest + 7 16th notes + 8th rest (at around 85bpm). Can someone help me find it?
This is not going to help me sleep it's going to make me scared this is super duper scary
Could also make nightmares, imagine one of these chasing you.. wait no don't that could make a interesting movie though. lol
I've had several MRI's and remember hearing the sound at 30:45 or something similar to it and I literally felt the soundwaves vibrating my body. It made me so uncomfortable I almost squeezed the little ball thing they give you. All of the other noises are ok
Are you allowed Bluetooth Headphones if not going into the tunnel?
I like to hide a bt speaker in a classroom and play this
Commodore 64 loading program.
Where can I get an MRI with GE Silent Scan technology ? The noise is too much for someone with tinnitus.
3:20:00i like the sound
3:41:28 is my personal favorite sound, when you’re inside it sounds like someone is crawling over the tube, hitting it with a hammer every six inches
