The round system is awesome for that;; it feels extremely rewarding to get that theme song playing throughout a round, and even if you lose, the sting doesn't hurt as bad cuz it feels like you did compete well and and and

Something interesting Ive noticed with Kai's theme is how the beginning notes build up in an almost heroic anime fashion before distorting a little into the drop. If we look into the backstories of him and Estelle, hers only mentions how a young upstart came and beat her, but Kai's version puts a much more protagonist like spin on it; He loses to a great foe, but comes back a year later and with the help of a close friend manages to win. In fact, piecing together various tidbits from the backstories, Kai is very much like a sports anime protagonist: A prodigy with lots of skill and a family member who was great in the past, who's closest known friend was an outcast who became friends with Kai because he was kind to her when others were not, and ends up losing to a great foe but comes back with a friend on his next oppurtunity. I say this, because the initial trailer and flashbacks in said trailer certainly make Kai and his team to seem like villains, when in reality he seems more like a somewhat distorted version of a anime sports hero, which fits the start of his theme perfectly. Im not even sure its intentional or not, but even if its not, this game has brought about a really interesting character tbh.

Kai's team in reality is not so much the villian group but the rival team to Juliette's team
That's cause at least from what we know Kai's not a villain in any way, just a rival. He's so far portrayed as the antagonist cause he is going against the protagonists, but at the end of the day, from what we know so far, they're all just players who are all trying to be the best. Now on the other hand Rasmus, that dude does straight up human experiments...

These are coincidentally both my favorite themes. As a fan of classical music, Rasmus's goes hard, and Asher's is one I can just straight head-bang to.
Asher's is by far my favorite of them all, but there are a lot of really good ones so I don't really mind whoever gets mvp for a round haha.

I was wondering why hearing Go Strike always got me pumped as a Juliette player, cause I was MVP and high on doing good.
back in testing phase, I tried out the game with friends for awhile but then mostly forgot about it. But dang now that I check the recent videos, there are absolute fire drops here. I am legitimately impressed and respecting this whole thing and will absolutely try returning to the game soon. This is some crazy stuff here.
Hey, love this game, the OST is incredible. One of the best ost's for a game in recent memory let alone for a mp or f2p game. Huge shoutouts to James Landino on Rune's theme absolutely shredding, honestly amazing work here throughout by everyone involved.
