So true. I was playing the other day and wanted get to an secret depot and God damn, I tried to jump around for 15 minutes, trying and failing continuously. Secrets in game are supposed to be fun and of course, a little challenging. This is upright broken physics and gruesome. 💔
This might be useful to you: while you have multiple rockets you can go with your mouse over enemies and the autotargeting system will target them. So if you have 5 rockets then you can have 5 targets at the same time, 4 rockets 4 targets and so on.
In 6:48 there is this leftmost window ( in the keys section ofc) that you can jump to it (by using the ledges in the left wall ) and you can skip majority of the level and get straight into the colosseum, pretty nice for speed running lol .
im glad that they brought back the classic platforming from 3. absolutely essential part of serious sam. the only part i look forward to in serious sam honestly
Also, would you ever consider a gadgetless, quicksaveless run? Mostly I think it'd be rad to see you take on the strip mine arena fight in One For The Road under these conditions. My patience is at an end with my run of this, and I'm about to give up on it, but maybe you could do better with it.
What if the Companion Orb were in the previous games: SS1 (TFE and TSE): A pixie that giggles SS2: A chicken with shoes and nerdy googles with rockets SS3: A military drone deployed in Iraq
It's good to mention that it is possible to play with enemy multiplier in game. Even 5x more enemies to kill, but they recompensate you with 5x more ammo to hold. Sometimes it becomes easier but sometimes it is just a chaos and so much satisfaction when you kill a wave of those ugly monsters :) Anyway good job on "cheesing" those annoying parts. And platforming secrets... succ...
decino made this level look a lot easier than it really is, using good strategies and the right weapons (and that little "cheese" against the bulls in the coliseum).
croteam literally nerfed and buffed some iconic enemies, like female gnaar, headless bomber and firecracker were buffed like their attacks are now stronger, and could kill you in seconds. and nerfed some big dudes like repteloid and mancubus [scrapjack], as you can just headshot them in just 1 sniper rifle bullet, and now khnum is now just... nothing. in ss3, they were much bigger threat than red biomech, they were thougher and most importantly, they cannot be killed by bullets and shells, they can only be killed by explosives... now they can killed by anything, and i think they attack much slower than in ss3.
Khnums take more damage in SS 4 since they have 3000 HP rather than the 1500 they had in BFE, unless you shoot them in the head, also most enemies retained their HP from the Classics with minor and irrelevant nerfs like Red Biomech has 730 HP instead of 750, Kleers have 125 instead of 130, doing triple damage with headshots is a reward for precision
And also in the fusion version the khnums can be killed with bullets, because literally everyone asked for it was stupid how only explosives kill and the fact he can Dodge rocket didn't make him a threat do to the slow projectile but just made him annoying
@@literallyvergil1686 i think they meant that by giving you devastator, as it is faster than rocket and has 20 rounds per shell, meaning it could kill khnum easily. but yeah, i didn't liked ss3 khnums.

I know this is a very late comment but I remember you were wondering how exactly do the enemies that spawn during the boss battles work. Well, I think I have a pretty solid theory.
