She was by far and away the best part of the film. She stole the show in her few brief minutes.
Absolutely agree; when she bid farewell and bowed out of the film I literally shouted "NO! COME BACK"
Which was kind of upsetting because they made her pretty big on the billboards, so when she was barely in it, I was upset.
She previously worked with Daniel Craig in Knives Out
This scene reminds me of Tuxedo with Jackie Chan and Jennifer Love Hewett..
not her brief minutes, it's her deep-v minutes
The unrealistic thing about this scene is no one's staring at her. She's beautiful, and that dress is amazing
the male gaze is problematic
Bond went woke
I would watch an entire movie of this chick, than watching the Woke Girl Boss movie The 355..
But then they'd be considered creeps.
finally the only girl who would state the obvious that females want to make men attention despite feeling awkward when they do.
She's the true highlight of that film...
Agreed! She's so hot!
Agreed, the rest was boring
@@MrRayDeaz lol okay
She is
Indeed. She is.
I refuse to believe she’s sitting there alone, looking that good, without anyone slobbering over her or trying to hit on her.. inconceivable!
I do not think you understand the meaning of that word
ew dude.
Me being Cuban i agree with you
Extremely attractive women are often sitting alone. Ask yourself when was the last time you hit on such a woman. Men fear rejection and most won't try, for good reasons. Not to mention, most women that attractive are absolutely not worth the hassle. Too much work.
@@justinmanley8131 i am not gonna lie u are sooo fucking right, and thats why pretty girls end up lonelier cuz lol guys dont dig for pretty girls anymore(cuz we all know all pretty girls ask for too much shit no joke all of them expect themselves higher than a normal guy causing full on fear, and then just literally want more stuff and it gets hectic so most guy go with what they got and hit their league girls i guess you could say). they just dig for who kinda feels right for them.
I wish we had more of her, she was by far my fav Bond girl character
agreed 100%. She's hot af
Nah bro..it will always be pussy galore
@lbvl0mc 99 Say you're young without saying your young :D
@lbvl0mc 99 bruh
What is her name???
Catches attention with looks
Steals hearts with personality
Wish there was more of her
sorry dude. western women are batshit crazy already lmao.

I love how Paloma is the answer after almost a decade of girl boss movies, where women in leading roles of spy movies and superhero movies are portrayed with lots of masculine features. She is feminine, she is fun, she is cute and yet she still has all the skills a good spy has to have. A well written character of our Zeitgeist telling girls: you can be a feminine woman and still have all the skills needed for a seemingly "masculine" job.
If they just made the entire movie the cuban scene, I would be a happy bond fan.
But where would the wokism come into play then?
@@Kronos0999 it being a girl, and thatd be enough
@@Kronos0999 What would you complain about then? Things that actually matter hopefully.
@@HastyElderHaman These anti-woke likely middle-aged guys are everywhere on youtube comments whining about some woke stuff that's just normality for most people. 5+ years ago woke was representing minority groups in movies, now it's just anti-racism. Probably why he's bitching about it.
isn't that unacceptable by today standards ? A straight, goofy beautiful woman, isn't that playing in the male fantasy ?
Never really had a favourite "Bond girl" until now!
She wasn't though.... 🤔🤷🏻♂??

@@jadeduh4555 Wasn't what? :)
@@christianhaugboelle she wasn't the "Bond Girl"
His "Girl" was the Bond(s) girl. *"Madeleine swann (bond girl)"
@@pragunahuja6879 that WAS "Bonds Girl" 👍🏼
One of the best scenes and characterisation. Her innocent eyes, the charm and the vulnerability all come out so beautifully in this 1:44 min clip. It would be a complete waste if they are unable to do a Spin-Off Movie on Paloma! I am sure there is a big fan base that would be happy to watch it! Ana de Armas is a brilliant actor and her magic is visible on the screen.
The movie should have been Bond and Paloma. That would have made such a good movie.
I would love to see a film about Paloma with one brief episode where Bond shows up.
It does make me wonder if they were going that way in this movie and then changed plans...and she was too good to take out. Or maybe she figures in the reboot of the series post Daniel Craig. I mean, her appearing and disappearing is just weird.
@@Law2120 Yes they had such good on screen chemistry, and it works because it's completely platonic. It was a shame she didn't get more screentime. They could have kept Madeline as Bond's love interest and had Paloma be his protege and colleague along with Q and Moneypenny.
I mean, you've got a good point, but... had ever been a spin-off of a Bond movie?
She surprisingly did really well in this role, a true badass
sexy as well. Femme fatale missing these days
Absolutely drop dead gorgeous in that dress! She could wear it everyday for the rest of her life and I’d never get tired of seeing her in it.
That was her blending in with the locals so as to seem NOT out of place!
The class, cutness e and sexyness of this woman are over the top.
The holy trinity.
You can say that again
I literally can't take my eyes off her.
@@FreeMind4492 I know what you mean
Her role with daniel in knifes out was also a masterpiece. Love that movie
To me she was absolutely the most memorable part of the film. Not attitude, no baggage, just very competent and fun.
The fuck you mean by attitude? Would you say the same thing about a grown man? This is a grown woman not a toddler.
Loved her since BladeRunner 2049. Can't believe I almost fell in love with a hologram.
Yiu know if she was ever available as a USB hologram she would sell out.
almost? i already fell in love with her. When Luv killed Joi, my heart also broke with her death
To think she was gonna be the next "Bond Girl"
Had me fooled. She rocked her part! 👍🏼👍🏼
Hope she cameos on the next ones. "Paloma!" 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Heck, I'd make a movie based on character alone. She is a delight!
Yes, but we only with Craig.
I would watch an entire movie of this chick, than watching the Woke Girl Boss movie The 355..
@@H1delta Shit. I done know anyone that would have a problem with that.
I do hope she is involved in the future since "Felix" was killed off. Would be Hot.
As i wrote this, 🤔.. My girl might be that hater 🤔🤔..

@@jadeduh4555 Shut up
I love how she Is the perfect spy in this everything she says is a lie about her experience in the field and how much training she's had. Then you notice it later on when she takes down 3 guys at once and lays cover fire for James.
You dont think she just had REALLY good training? 😉
@@Don-ii4vm Unless John wick trained her. Then I think she underplayed her skills big time.
I would watch an entire movie of this chick, than watching the Woke Girl Boss movie The 355..
She made a fan out of me. That look on her face when she says "I've done 3 weeks training."
Humor. We need more women with humor. And we need Craig back as Bond. Daniel + Ana. NOW !
3 weeks training for the film. Pre production. Haha
He’s like, “yup this is most certainly death”
They need her in the reboot. Same actress, same character. Just technically a different version. Like M in Casino Royale.
Absolutely
Same Bond. Same Paloma. No excuses.
@@NisseOhlsen no spoilers but it can't be the same Bond.
@@DanielOrteez of course it could. How else could the following be true "James Bond will return".
Easy-peacy: his was one of several possible scenarios that played out.
Q, diverted the guided missiles - that is why we see the fireworks - not the actual impact.
This was to lure any possible Spectre hangers-on out of their caves.
The nano particles were subsequently easily filtered out Commander Bonds blood stream.
After all, they are polar.
Any more questions ?
@@NisseOhlsen Nah. Everybody doing multiverse now. All Bonds exist at the same time.
I still feel like we had 10 mins cut from the movie where we find out Felix was the one that setup it all up and it was a joke on bond cause the way Paloma goes from rookie to I've been doing this 20 years just makes that narrative fit so well. Really wished we coulda seen more of her was a great character.
If you listen to her tone and not her words, she was never a rookie. She’s excited and teasing Bond, out of confidence in the situation.
@@walker1812 Right which is why i said what I said cause theres no further character development. Honestly this character feels more and more apart of the re-writes to the save the movie after the original writer was fired.
She probably feels intimidated because she is working with a legend like James Bond, she was probably really nervous.
@Дэвид Pomo damn L news + source?
@Дэвид Pomo Where’d u hear this?
best part of the movie by far. i just love how upbeat and cheerfully nervous she is.
Literally the best part of the film, all the way through I was waiting for her to appear again but sadly no 😭
maybe even make a movie with her as MC
Yep it was disappointing all the way the end after that lol
U can’t have her for tho long. The black dog was more important
Ikr, she had very little on screen time, yet they dedicated a good chunk of the trailer and posters to her. Unfortunate
@@timaa.4379 maybe they did that on purpose, cuz she will appear again in next Bond movies! Or even make her solo movie! Let's hope so!
Daniel and Ana have such tremendous chemistry. Glad they got to act together again after Knives Out.
She was fantastic in this. The best part of the film hands down. Perfect casting
When I went to go watch this in the theatres and she entered the scene, EVERYONE's eyes were on her and there was this eerie silence for the whole duration while she spoke. We were absolutely stunned with her appearance and her fighting scenes were amazing
You were watching everyone in the cinema's eyeballs?
I am uncertain what part of the world you hail from but where I live everyone is silent during a film showing because we are not heathens.
Probably America, their cinemas are like a fucking zoo.@@Jafmanz
Love how she was so nervous but then absolutely crushed it, good writing. 👌
I know James Bond movies are pretty unrealistic, but that dress not slipping and holding itself up is a little over the top.
lots and lots of tape
its glued to the nips
It's bat-tape. Batfleck made it.
There is a thing called dress tape. A lot of celeb women use them for their dresses. Not uncommon.
@@Serenity113 ok. But I guess this dress would need more than tape in a few places. There is something a little more elaborate going on here.
Enjoyed that Bond encountered a beautiful ally, enjoyed a little dancing, respected her fighting skills, respected their obvious age difference, and just kept things friendly without hitting on her. That's class. This would never happen in older Bond movies.
Don't forget Wai Lin (Michelle Yeoh), a real kick ass agent.
How old was she? And he?
that's lame as hell, Bond cant be presented as attractive to women anymore cause its 2021. She cant be a strong or empowering character if she had flirted with him? She's a Bond Girl but when he tries to kiss her she looks grossed out and waves him away? That's not class, that's turning Bond into the butt of the joke and taking away one of his defining features to make her seem more like a 'strong independent woman' at his expense.
@@andyrobin7196 nah it’s finally showing the truth that young attractive women in their prime aren’t attracted to older men past theirs. Very few with daddy issues or gold diggers may want an older man but most women want men their own age esp if they are attractive and have many options
@@positiveenergy8888 Bullshit
this is the point where i fell asleep in the theater
crazy how she was only in the movie for so few minutes but literally in the top for bond girls. my favorite from the craig era for sure
This part and the Spectre party (with their gun/physical fight) is the best part of the film! Love the atmosphere and setting of it all and Paloma and Bond look as if they are enjoying it too! Great working chemistry between those two. ☺️👍🌟
Best part of the entire film such a stunning woman and her gun fighting scenes were great too
I loved their chemistry in knives out, so glad we got to see them act together again.
its was so cool to have these two together again after knives out
Oh shit that’s her. I wondered why she looked so familiar
These two actors have worked together in Knives Out. They have great chemistry and I would love to see more of these two working together in the future.
I like her she handled herself well. Good job Paloma!
One of the ununderstandable breaks of the film. Bond meets Paloma who will be introduced with some good action scenes and then after the job she will be brought home with a bye - and that’s it.
The alternative is that they sleep together then she is killed like in every other Bond film.
Re:Classics, that's what I was thinking before I read your comment.
I couldn't contain my enthusiasm when I saw her as Paloma. I was so happy!!!
Every second where she appeared was highlight of the movie! I’ve watched this part over and over many times
Literally the only part of the movie I can say with utmost certainty that I truly and fully enjoyed.
Paloma was absolutely Amazing in her debut. Best scene of the movie imo! Defiantly would love to see more of her in the next bond! We got teased big time!
Every confused look and "huh" of hers is driving me crazy... 😘😘😍😍
That line of "I've had 3 weeks training" while in character is a wonderful 'meta' reference to the actress's real life 3 weeks of training for the action for the role!!
Edit: Bravo to either actress Ana de Armas or writer Phoebe Waller Bridge for coming up with the line, and to both for brilliantly realising the character in such a way that her relatively tiny amount of screen time is dwarfed by her on screen presence in the film 👏👏
(I've heard of conflicting reports of whether or not the line was already in the script or added by the actress herself. Either way there were reportedly plenty of small script edits being made during production).
Im guessing it was phoebe waller-bridge who suggested that this character and Bond not flirt or hook up or have any sexual chemistry. It wouldnt have been 'empowering' if she was attracted to Bond or if Bond seduced a woman at any point.
@@andyrobin7196 agreed. Yes I believe it was by her, as when the script's other writers were asked about that character's sequence they said that initially it was a short role and sequence so they assumed that it must have been additions (as part of numerous script changes) by Phoebe Waller-Bridge when she was brought in relatively late to polish the script
3 weeks training? The way she triumph over those henchmen, looks like she's been at it for 3 decades.
Also saying “this is the biggest job I’ve ever had”.
@@andyrobin7196 They did have sexual chemistry. If your only idea of chemistry is having sex, then you're probably not very good at flirting
They must have had all kinds of adhesive to keep that dress in one place

Эта встреча запомнится надолго мне, столько эмоций в таком маленьком эпизоде, ирония и сила харизмы у обоих зашкаливает :)
The Bond and Paloma scenes were the saving graces of this film , she was awesome !
Some very clever changes in these recent Bond films to reflect the changing times and attitudes: instead of having a “Bond girl” who was just eye candy: a sex symbol and damsel in distress, here we have a woman with wit, personality, and fighting skill. No damsel in distress she. Fantastic. And even better, she was the comic relief! She knocked her part out of the park. Brilliant!
I hate to break it to ya. But you just proved that you haven't watched all of the Bond films. They were more than just eye candy but in the late 80s to 90s you would see that the female characters were already on that level long before the Graig Era. Paloma should've been the main lead and not the other one.
Pls let there be more of Paloma in the next films...she really was the highlight
Don't be in denial. Bond is dead.

This film needced way more Paloma
Paloma and some cow bell. ...Actually more of both.
she needed more screen time, what a beauty
As a comic book nerd, there's a saying: the art draws you in, but you stick around for the story. That's Paloma. De Armas' Paloma IS a knockout, but it's her personality that makes her memorable.
Craig and De Almas have such amazing chemistry. Here and Knives Out proves it. I want to see them in more movies.
I wish she had more screen time in this movie.
And yet initially she was going to have less until DC stepped in and said she needed more, she was literally going to just be a cameo and not a true character we'd want more of.
Finally a Bond girl worthy of being in a Bond movie. It’s been a long time
It took too long to match Famke Janssen!
What about the chick from Skyfall? Bernice Marhole. The problem in the Craig films is that they used the hottest Bond girls very briefly.
She was amazing. So cute and shy yet so bad ass. 😎🔥 Excellent movie.
Man Am I glad Daniel Craig pushed for Ana De Armas to get this role. Bless his soul we don’t deserve him.
Never has a cameo created such buzz for a spin off.
That buzz is a thousand simps fapping
Gonna miss Daniel Craig as Bond.
She is literally the most beautiful woman on the planet
Ana De Armas is absolutely stunning
This clip should have included where she knocks down the vodka martini and cooly says 'vamos'. Bond loves it and is hooked.
The sequence when Bond turns into Mr. And Mrs. Smith. Quirky and comedic.
She's not a Bond girl unless she has sex with Bond.
aka a completely different movie
she is like a comedy part character of the film, or if it's rude/vulgar, she's a "funny chick", and if it's really refined, she's a typical ingenue, so she brings that uplifting part in this epic, sad and thoroughly serious final adventure of Agent 007. Personally favorite scene.
Freaking great performance , Ana!
Seriously she’s stunning !!
She needed more screen time 😭
She says no like she’s not interested yet she was the one unbuttoning his shirt. I know what you did Hollywood. Nice try.
The word gorgeous does not even begin to describe that woman.
