With a PM motor removing the armature without sliding in a replacement will reduce the magnet efficiency. A steel tube will do to maintain the magnetic circuit.

Is that the correct voltage for it? I know it’s not AC or anything, but that plug is so odd, I wonder if it’s an industrial use one, some of those use voltage that isn’t normal for batteries like 150v or even just 30v

That plug is the Standard 120v North American plug.

Leider wird suggeriert, dass man nur alles auseinander nehmen muss um es zu säubern und dann geht es wieder. Restaurieren ist aber soviel mehr. Ich muss mich mit dem Teil auseinandersetzen und es instand setzen, Verschleiß beheben und neu zum Leben erwecken.
