Find comfort in the memories you have of your Mother. It hurts but it will lessen over time. Honeymoon Island is a great place to go shelling. The one you called a “cone” is more particularly an alphabet cone. I am so envious of you guys!!!

It's good to see Paleo Cris and Brie! I started watching you guys find fossils. The plain white shells from millions of years ago. Then was amazed at the patterns that showed up when you used the black light or blue light on the fossils. Now to see similar patterns on live moving ones is so freaking fun for me. I don't get out much so it's a multi million year window you show us! Edited to add Natalie's knowledge of shells is appreciated! She knows them all.

Awesome video! Thanks for mentioning about how trash affects wildlife. Though it’s sad, it’s an important reminder to pick up trash even when it’s not yours. I always carry a trash bag with me and pick up any garbage I see while I’m treasure hunting. The Purslane is a succulent and it’s incredibly easy to propagate and grow. I don’t know if it’s wild to the beach or if it was dropped by a bird or if a human brought it, but one tiny leaflet will grow a whole lot of plant in a very short time. I had a hanging basket on my porch and the next thing I knew it was growing all over my yard. It is beautiful though.

Could you do a Q &A about you & your friends background like did y’all go to college to get degrees in these fields or did your jobs teach you about fossils or rocks. Does your families share their knowledge. How do y’all know so much. This 62 Very Grateful Grammy is just curious how y’all have all this information to share & it is so interesting. Still have good and bad days, and miss sharing experiences that we both enjoyed. But hang in there brother - you've got Natalie, Cris and Bri within reach, for when it gets a bit tough. Hang onto your passions (music, treasure hunting, paleo discoveries) and your family and friends - you'll be just fine bud!

Usually we go to Sanibel area. You make me so happy that you know the shell names! Venice beach has some great mega shark teeth. After storms you can find seahorses in the high tide lines, where you find nicker nuts. Maybe they will fit in the bottle. So much fun!
