Well the headless horseman was based off the English folktale of a Dullahan. Which is a type of Fey that keeps its head in a basket tied to its saddle as it rides around. Craniumon is based on a Dullahan, though loosely. So I would be perfectly fine with Pumpkinmon evolving to Craniumon.

Well to be fair, I'm pretty sure arata spent more time as a eater hybrid as opposed to being with his partner
@@Vinylmelody1517 actually not really considering he introduces keramon in chapter 2 or 3 and doesnt becomes a hybrid till some where between chapter 12 or 13 you fight him and remove eater part in chapter 17 or 18 and then at end he get his diaboramon back

@@michaelliggett1622 that's fair, I guess un my head he didn't really show off his partner that often. I know we see him with his kurisarimon when we meet the old man, then I think we partner with him and his infermon once, I know there's that mission against the wisemon he fights alongside us, and then there his post eater Adam stuff with his diaboromon.
I think my problem is the fact that out of everyone in the game with a partner, his is probably the least prominent imo.
Yeah not a protagonist, Arata is a supporting character. I did mean moreso anime or manga than video games but you are technically correct and that is the best kind of correct

Keramon was a partner digimon in Cyber seluth as he was Arata partner.
Although to be fair Keramon was mpre just there and didn’t play a major role in Arata devopment so its easy to overlook

I do love Veemon and XVeemon, and wish their was a line focused on them, without the fusion elements and the aeroveedramon branch.
I tend to just go XVeemon to Magnamon Black and then Magnamon Gold but that's 100% my bias XD
You HAVE gotten me on the Fanbeemon wagon though! Expecially with the love the line got now!
I really like to use Cyberdramon for XVeemon's ultimate. I know there is a little bit of funkyness to Ryo and Monodramon's line and Adventure/02/Tamers, but I just really love Veemon-XVeemon-Cyberdramon-take your pick, I think Justimon actually works pretty well for Davis, but I do feel like I flip flop over several megas for this line.
@@Jeikobu Ooo Cyberdramon does fit in nicely with XVeemon. Justimon fits for Davis, and honestly, I do see him also fitting with Veemon's vibe as well. Not my favourite digimon overall, but definitely one of the better picks for this line :)
@@Dusxio You could go into Ulforce, but I do try to find alternates when possible too. Another thing that I think makes Cyberdramon fit really well is a good number of the goggle heads digimon partners get cybernetics at ultimate.

The new/updated Commandramon digivolution line is soo S-tier! It's updated Champion & Mega is definitely in that Greymon /Wargreymon family
I was so happy with the introduction of the bee mons. As an insect enthusiast, I've always thought digimon could use more insect-themed mons, especially in the mega department.
It's kind of a mix up, but my ideal partner line would go Tentomon - Stingmon - Vespamon/Jewelbeemon - TigerVespamon/Banchostingmon.
I've always loved the kamen rider/sentai feel of stingmon, and Tentomon is really underrated.

I think I could construct a top 5 lines only using bees with all the routes we got. Mind you, I do fold in Stingmon, Flymon, Honeybeemon, and Flybeemon, but overall having all these options really gets the creative juices rolling.

It has been a while since you did a favorite digivolution lines vid, and with you picking new favorites, I wonder if my tastes in Digimon evolution lines have changed.
My top two have always been the Dianamon and the Argosmon line. I fell in love with them because of Digimon world Dusk. But my mind still always puts Keramon in the Argosmon lineup because of it and I will always love it being apart of that line.
terriermons line was my favorite for most of my life and then hexeblaumon came along and stole my heart. Literally the most perfect digimon finally made for me after all these years.

Me and my Partner were actually discussing Keramon evos (Keramon being my Partner Digimon), and whilst I've struggled to find what felt a fitting Ultimate/Perfect stage, I found myself drawn to Exermon as the Champion/Adult stage, and even Shivamon as the final, even if those two are Pulsemon line. They just felt like visual fits for a 'good Partner' line.
Also created in concept a Love Armour form based partially on an Orchid Mantis (the side 'wings' becoming gliders and bladed gauntlets) named Orkeramon that I hope to one day commission art for
Have you perhaps considered Parallelmon? It's a kinda weird Digimon but looks like it could be a viable off-shott from Infermon or even a DNA of Infermon and Arkadimon (Ultimate)

Yo, the mention of Keramon. Ever since the movie it has been my #1 digimon. Whenever I make up my own characters I normally have them partnered with him. Even tried making my own series called R:/Evolution where there's a hacker with a Keramon who's missing part of its face.
Man Pulsemon is such a fun little Digimon. I actually became attached to using it as a LovelyAngemon rookie of all things. Someone on discord pointed out LovelyAngemon is kinda cheerleader esque too, which is neat.
Overall some really good line choices from you!
It makes me so happy seeing keramon's line in your list. Ever since i was a kid and saw the digimon movie in theaters(fun fact it came out here in the US on my birthday) I've always stood firm that I'd want keramon as my partner to this day!
I love love love the recent Commandramon-Brigadramon evolution line. I was even sharing around the Hicommandramon pictures when it was just on the Digimon Seekers promotional to my friends, talking about how this might be my first greymon variant I actually like (there's been plenty of wargreymon and agumon variants I love, but it was a big deal for me at the time, because I really didn't like anything traditionally greymon)

Actually, funny thing about keramon. At the end of the chronicle x storyline where lucemon x had used keramon x to absorb the demon lords to form ogurimon x, after they were defeated Jesmon took keramon’s digi-egg under his care, with the intention to raise it to be the first of the next generation of royal knights.
They did sort of hinted in the X VPets story that Jesmon would raise the Keramon X egg (what was Ogudomon) into a new royal knight
Numbers 6 and 5 ended up being the perfect lines for two of my friends.
I am also a huge fan of fanbeemon! When I first watched digimon, I was always a hardcore patamon crest of hope kid. But as an adult, I thought that I would love to be the crest of hope with fanbeemon. I also love the new evolutions we got for this line and can see myself with fanbeemon as my partner digimon.
I've never really thought about who were my favourite digimon lines outside of Lopmon's line (both dark and light) but I can definitely say Loogamon's line instantly became a favourite line of mine and I really do like Lunamon's line as well. I guess I just have to see more digimon that really grab my attention lol.

An interesting idea for Keramon as an anime/manga partner could be like Ken from 02? Where Keramon and his human digidestined partner might be an antagonist or "lone ranger" and then join the main cast of digidestined for the second half then we could see what a "Good" Diaboromon could be like, plus with his villain role in the Adventure movies he can "hack" into software for the team to escape, but I suppose at this point my comment's just being a fanfiction lmao
I think Bulucomon for me is what FanBeemon is for you (though I do also love that line, and Puroromon is probably the single cutest in-training Digimon), as the Digimon that feels like my partner.
Ice is my favourite Pokémon type, I love Ice powers and Ice aesthetics, and it is the top Ice line. We've got a lot of standalone Ice themed Digimon, like Frigimon, and a lot of Ice Digimon that are essentially variants, like Panjyamon and literally Icemon, but that little dragon guy with a cool Ice wizard dragon mega tied to the cool but unexplored magical digital realm? So awesome! One of my first decks was Hexeblaumon, but I've worked to keep it only to cards that are thematically icy, and I'm SO hyped for the new line that even give them a unique Ice flavoured ability! Yeah! It's not new branching members to the line like Fanbeemon, but that's my win from Liberator.
Since a lot of Matt-type characters start off as antagonists, it'd be cool if one of them had a Keramon who went from Chrysalimon to a more "good" or anti-hero Ultimate and Mega.

Keramon has been a partner, namely Arata Sanada's partner in Cyber Sleuth, but he didn't have a speaking role like Nokia's partners, and was sidelined for Arata's recreation of Supersize Me.
I need to do one of these with the newest additions but my number 1 and partner digimon is and always will be Gotsumon to Golemon to Gogmamon and then Blastmon!

I like Soulmon being short of Ghostmon's Adult stage. I agree Queenbeemon is the best add. I always say they need more bird, plants, and insect type Digimon. I'm still waiting on an Ultimate Spider-lady Digimon for Arukenimon. Like we got KoDokugumon a Child stage. Now we need a final evolution to top it all off. I wish ShimaUnimon would get more love. The best Evo Line I have for it is Tapirmon to ShimaUnimon to Indramon to Cernumon. Which I know they say is a Ultra stage. But look at Tyrantkabuterimon, Chaosdramon, Rafflesimon and more that where used as Ultra stages, then in the TCG game are only level 6 cards. I sometimes like to use Moosemon as the Perfect stage, because Armor stages kind being between Adult and Perfect. I love your top picks.
I just realized that pteromon and blucomon both have connections to witchelny, and blucomon was the first digimon pteromon fought. The connections being blucomon having hexablaumon of course, but with pteromons ultimate and mega eing part of the vortex warriors, the group led by medicalmedievalgallantmon, who is also part of witchelny.
I want to see a jogress between brigadramon and darkdramon, it would just be cool

I will say I will keep him as Millenniumon not Moon or Zeed as I love his original design. This is very likely his line(minus going to Millenniumon with Jogress evolution) looking at Digimon BT-18 and Digimon Masters(trash game). This is also why I said I would want number 1 and 2 as partners so they can Jogress into Millenniumon but if just Chimairamon can that's fine too)
Yes, Lopmon and Wormmon are on the list. They (along with Patamon) are my favorite lines. I will admit that I'm surprised that Hyokomon and his line aren't somewhere in your top 10.

Though I HOPE those 3 Callusmon's friends who fought Regulusmon, Omnimon and Dominimon in V-Tamers, Hermmon, Lykamon and Panimon, get added someday. Shame they were cut off from manga due time issues... Would been nice Megas for Fantomon, BlackWereGarurumon/Fangmon and Mephismon.
...Also surprise that Chronomon didn't make it to the list. : )
One thing is sure. Kodokugumon > Dokugumon > Arukenimon > Lilithmon would be on that list. As would Witchmon/Bastemon.
Seeing Keramon in your top makes me happy, as he is my top 3 ever since he existed. Also, for "new" Digimon, I know I'm just basic and I'm probably gonna get flamed, but I really like Gammamon and his evolutions. The versatile side with Betel, Kaus and Wezen, and the dark side with Gulus. Also, I'm a sucker for dragons, so Cannoweissmon and Regulusmon are up there. I love the duality and the designs, and I really wish Ghost Game ended in a more satisfying way

I was waiting for this. I did mine a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to do it before Liberator really kicked off. Some thoughts: I little surprised you didn't include Cherubimon Virtue X as I think it is an improvement over the regular version, while I love both Pteromon and Loogamon's line they don't grab my brain; I like more evil, I love Keramon however Armaggedonmon is too out there and Diaboromon X isn't strong enough of a design to replace him, I am surprised by Shoemon, and I am not surprised by fanbeemon's inclusion. As soon as I saw it in Liberator, I knew it would be your favorite.
In my personal opinion while think the Shoemon line is good and the designs are great, the drastic change is too much for my brain. Of the new Digimon lines, Heavymetaldramon is working up its way into my heart.
I personally like yukidarumon (fridgimon) as a prior to pumpkinmon, and maybe icemon could work as a prior evolution if you will consider him child level. I think ghostmon could work well in a blue meramon and then death meramon, not sure about a proper mega level tho, but the blue flames could be a good theme for ghostmon, or maybe ghostmon to soulmon to phantomon to metalphantomon could wrap it really nicely

I had an idea for a video. What would a full evolution line for Morphomon look like? It can be picking from existing digimon or custom art, or both.

Jewelbeemon being...well Bee is in the name is what inspired me to look towards the bees, so much so that I think stingmon actually works really well visually going into the vespamon portion of the line.

I have a character that has Ghostmon as a partner and hit evolution line is ghostmon > flarewizardmon > pumpkinmon> noblepumpkinmon. Of course I like your evolution line too.

I thought about this recently, and its not an intended line, but if i had my choice of partner digimon it would go
Patamon, Unimon, HolyAngemon Priest Mode and finally Valkyriemon. Especially with its recent release in the TCG, Valkyriemon has been cemented as my favorite mega
Bulkmon stan here. I love every member of every Pulsemon line, but Bulkmon to Boutmon to Shroudmon for life. But literally every single member I would have as a partner. Honestly given the fact that Digimon go backwards a lot, if Pulsemon's every line was in a game like Cyber Sleuth/ Dusk or Dawn, I would probably digivolve to every form at least once, eventually getting to Shroudmon.
I just started a hyperfixation on KinitoPET which is based on Clippy but lorewise was at one point a Tamagotchi/Digimon like product and a plush. KinitoPET is an axolotl but because the game is meant to be a horror version of the malware version of Clippy aka Bonzai Buddy, he gives me Keramon vibes. If I can, I will try and use a Keramon in Cyber Sleuth or Digimon World Dawn or maybe a new game.
NoblePumpkinmon is one of my favorites from when you introduced him to me via your videos. Love me dapper character designs and Halloween things.

Like my Pokemon DiM, I also got Blukomon as one of several DiMs I have because of your channel. I adore this line as well. Ice dragons are always a win.

I can actually see Violet's Ghostmon becoming NoblePumkinmon. Violet is a rich girl. She has a Ojou-like style... of course her partner could be a Noble. Hell; look at that Ghostmon bio and art! He's like a butler! Also; she's Arisa's rival; so NoblePumpkinmon as a foil to Cendrilmon... [or even the two work together; the price and princess]
I only see something like a Victorian Gothic ghost lady
Personally my favorite evolution lines are the ones that keep some visual coheasion through out all 6 of it's stages.
As much as I like the original Adventure they didn't really have any visual cohesion in the first 2 stages of the evolution line. Some of them the In-Training does kind of look like the rookie a little bit but the Fresh or Baby level Digimon just felt random because there wasn't a lot of them to choose from.
It's not till 02 that brand new Fresh and In-Training Digimon were designed specifically to resemble the Rookies they would eventually turn into except that in this case since DNA evolution was introduced these new Digimon don't actually have full evolution lines either.
Veemon does have a proper evolution line on his own or the DNA fusion with Wormmon but Wormmon really doesn't have a full evolution line of his own since even Dinobeemon is just an alternate take on his fusion with Veemon and ends on a Mega that doesn't really look like a fusion.
Willas' Lopmon has a full evolution like that works really well but Terriormon wouldn't get a proper evolution like till Tamers.
Karamon is one of my favorite Adenture villains specifically because it actually has a full evolution line.
Guilmon, Renamon, and Cyberdramon also have full evolution lines except I don't really like Cyberdramon's evolution line that much.
While most of the line actually looks intentional Cyberdramon and Justimon only VAUGLY fit. I do really like them on their own but as a full cohesive line sharing some visual connection between form those two just feel forced into that evolution line.
Impmon I also liked as well except he never had a real Champion or Ultimate level leading into Beelzemon. They're digimon that feel like they were picked at random. Impmon's new evolution line however feels more intentional through out.
The wolf with the Boxing gloves and the plant from Data Squad seem like they have really good evolution lines. I'm not including Agumon here because he has the same problem as Adventure Agumon where the Fresh and In-Training forms aren't really designed specifically for that evolution line.
Don't get me wrong Botamon and Koramon aren't bad Digimon for what they are they just ruin the visual cohesion I'm looking for in an evolution line.
There's also the dragon and the Fox with the triangles on their heads which some how are from 2 different Digimon properties even though they look like Tai and Matt style partner Digimon that should both be in the same story... but they have great evolution lines and I'd love to see more of them.
I just like when you can easily tell it's the same Digimon just a more powerful version of that Digimon. I don't really like the random evoltions where yeah they can technically do that it feels totally random just to fill empty slots.
One of My personal head cannon digivolution lines is wormmon -> exermon-> kongoumon (I consider all the golden armor digimon to be ultimates because of armor rapidmon) -> shivamon

I think the Zubamon is for sure in my top ten. I really only like it and it's evo but they are enough for me :>
